Morning BB's,

This morning was Disc 34 Chest & Back. Yesterday was GW28K Week 2 Day 1, and it was a very good run for me. Saturday I decided to do the workout Less is More Cardio on ExerciseTV On Demand, and that is one tough workout that left my calf muscles sore. I also did Cindy's Incredible Ab workout. That one was 20 min. long and incorporated standing and floor ab work.

Cami is getting better and better at her running, and I think that she enjoy's the intervals more because she can stop and sniff for a minute. :D

SNOWWW DAYYYY! :D:DActually ICE day! Can´t believe It! anyway, am planning on doing BM2...was going to do an edited version, but with this day off, I´ll do the whole thing :D

Sat, I did Low Max...hadn´t done that for a while..it is such a good workout.

Hope to start my baking today :) and have been working on school stuff.

Hi gang! I am sorry I was so bad at checking in last week! Time got away from me but I did manage to get most of my workouts in. Saturday I was at a basketball tournament from 7am until 5pm and I was pooped.

Today I woke up early and walked Ruby and then got on the elliptical for 45mn and then did ab work for 15mn.

I will try my bestest to log on here this week. It's another crazy one, starting with DS Chirstmas program tonight!

Laurie, glad to hear Cami is doing better with the running! Ruby is not liking all the slush and crub in the roads right now!

Just a quick post. Have not gotten my workouts in. Nothing to report in that area. It has been a week since I last worked out.

Laurie, glad you are enjoying your runs with Cami. Marathon here you come.

Susan, how did the basketball tournament go? Good job getting in your workouts.

Lala, BM2 in its entirety--wonderful workout. Have not done LM i a long time. Ill have to pull that one out again. How many different kinds of cookies do you bake?

Hello!

It was cold out there this morning. Just got a walk in. This city has been awful about cleaning the roads so far this season. Don't know if they're trying to save money or what! The roads are terrible to walk on. We don't have a lot of sidewalks here....:( I am scheduled for BFBM today but might do Bootcamp instead.

I got my Christmas present early! I got a pair of the Sketcher Shaper shoes. Since I am on my feet so much at work I thought I'd try them. You relly feel it in the hams and rear end! My one knee is a little sore, I think because I am using different muscles. Will let you know if I see any difference!

Karen, hope you like the new job! As for the workouts, hopefully once you get used to the new schedule you will find a way to fit it in. It's hard when you try to juggle everything at first!

Morning Ladies,

Got my new glasses yesterday, and there is a learning curve with these new ones. Have to adjust my monitor and keyboard so that I can adjust to the progressive lenses in these. I was used to my old ones! :D This morning was cold, but I went out and ran W2D2 of GW28K. Tried to avoid running right into the wind, so managed to run most of the time with the wind coming from the side. :D I did enjoy my hot shower afterward though. :D

Lala, Snow Day Ice is not fun when you can't get your car door open! :D Did you manage to get some of those wonderful cookies baked?

Susan, Cool on the shoes! I think if someone has to walk around alot for their job, those would be ideal. I think this storm was a weird one, in that it was wet snow and then everything froze. Our roads where pretty good this morning, but Cami does avoid the rough parts also. Had to laugh at her this morning, because she howled when she figured out that we where going to go running outdoors. :D Howling is her being happy! :D

Karen, I'm sure when the school break comes, you will be catching up on all your workouts. ;) LOL about the Marathon, I'm not to interested in that right now. Maybe when I'm able to do a long long run! :D

Hi BBs! Today was KCM 30 minute kickbox. Just couldn´t make myself do the IMax that was scheduled!

OK, confession...did not get to the cookie baking.:eek: Maybe some time this week!

Susan, I´ve read about those shoes...let us know how you like them!

Karen, ditto on the getting used to your new schedule...you´ll figure it out!

Laurie, I´ve had those progressive lenses and like them once I got used to them. I went with regular ones this time since I use my contact (yes, just one!) most of the time, but do wish I had spent the extra money for the progressives.

This morning was Disc 34 Plyo Legs. I think that one is all super plyo! :eek: Then I also did Ab Circuit Yoga Based Abs.

Lala, I think I adjusted pretty good by about noon yesterday with my new lenses. I stopped at another store yesterday to order my safety glasses for work. They told me it would take 2 weeks. :rolleyes: I got my current ones in 2 days. :D I have not started my cookies yet either, but that is my plan for this weekend. I'm taking Friday off to get my shopping done, then Sat. & Sun are all baking. ;)

Hello there! Today is Pilates Power Sculpting followed by Pilates Advanced. I am in the mood for pilates I guess! :p My back needs it! The one thing I have noticed with my new shoes is my heel spurs are no longer bothering me! My knee has finally gotten used to them as well.

I have not done any baking myself yet either!:confused: Hope to get that stuff sone this weekend. Plus I have to get 2 more gifts yet.!

This morning I got outside to run W2D3 of GW28K, and Cami didn't have a good run. :mad: She got the sent of deer, and I had a very hard time controlling her on the third 8 min interval segment. I think I may need to get a training collar or something, so that I can press a button and she gets a jolt or a noise when she is pulling to much! :D Otherwise I did have a good run, because there was no wind to speak of.

Susan, Glad those shoes are working out for you. I'm thinking of getting a stretch in after work, because I'm feeling pretty tight in places. We might all be baking this weekend. :D

Oldest DD broke up with her BF yesterday, and was actually in a good mood last night. He was a nice guy, but would flirt with other girls. She had a girl ask her if she was over Josh, because her friend really liked him and he liked her. According to the boy you can't cry about him kidding around with another girl. :eek: :rolleyes: That young man has a lot to learn about women. :D

No walk today so I can checkin over my lunch break. My boss has an off-site meeting and I don't feel like walking by myself.

Laurie - I'm impressed that you're still running outside. Last night I went downstairs to do a quick Leslie mile and my husband thought I was going outside for a walk. I laughed and told him it was too cold. I'm not that crazy! :D I've never had progressive lenses but I'm sure I'm headed down that path. I wear contacts normally but keep a pair of glasses for emergency and to wear at night. I have really, really bad eyes.

Karen - I know you'll figure out some way to get some workouts in.

Susan - How did you hurt your back? Keep letting us know how you like your shoes.

Lala - So how's the baking going? Did you see the thread in Open Discussion with lots of yummy cookie recipes?

My big news is that I hit my BL weight loss goal last Saturday - 9 days early! :D It's not my ultimate goal, just a mini goal for our friendly little competition. I've lost 17 pounds total. I'm going to keep going since I have 20-25 more to lose. I feel GREAT! Clothes are fitting great and that feels good. We had a Christmas Potluck on Monday so I indulged a bit but got right back on the wagon on Tuesday. I hope to lose at least another pound by Final Checkin on Monday. So far, I'm winning which means I'll collect $60 which I'll put to prompt use on some fitness dvd or piece of equipment. :D

I did Results Lower Body this morning. Had to leave the house at 6:15 a.m. so I'm glad I was able to fit that in. I want to do Results Upper Body tonight. I honestly can't remember what other workouts I've done lately. Some kind of cardio and weights - that's about as specific as I can get! LOL

I am now finished with STS Meso 3 Disc 36 Shoulders, Biceps, Triceps. Can't believe that I'm done. Just remember dreading even starting it. :D :D This next week is recovery for me, and then I'm onto a Jillian rotation that was on ExerciseTV's web page. After Christmas I will be ordering Insanity, but I do plan on trying out the Shock Cardio DVD's when I get them. I think the MMA ones will be good recovery workouts. ;)

Sue, Congratulations BIGGEST LOSER!!!!! :D That is a great accomplishment. I was actually warm this morning on our walk, and was wondering why I didn't wait until this morning to run.:rolleyes: I wish I could wear contacts, but they don't make a prescription strong enough for me. :( So far the reviews on the Jay's Bootcamp workouts have been so so. I think I will be waiting on those for a little while. :D I love those results workouts. Might just throw those into my Jillian rotation if I need something extra.

Lala, I have not done SJP in ages, but I think that is because of the Hi/Lo. Not a big fan of that! :)

Plans for this weekend are baking cookies! :D Oh and I think Drill Max Cardio Blast Premix. Sunday for sure is going to be a run.
