Morning Ladies,

Today was Disc 22 Chest, Shoulders, Triceps and since this workout was only 43 min. I managed to get in a short run on the TM too. ;) Now my workouts are done for the day so I'm happy. :) Saturday I ran outdoors in the morning, and then did Billy's Bootcamp Basic Training. This one isn't one of my favorites (uses the Billy Bands), but will probably try it again when I have a light day (probably for my recovery). I did use 1# weighted gloves, and I think that helped. Otherwise my weekend was spent cleaning the house, and enjoying the wonderful weather. :D

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Good Morning,

Today I did 4DS chest, back, shoulders, abs. Also did a workout from Body Rock site 20 min. HIIT. Great workouts on that site. Then I did the ball segment from stretchmax.

Laurie, good job getting all your workouts in already. It was a beautiful weekend to enjoy the outdoors.

Have a great day.

Hi, Laurie and Karen! :) Yes, it was a beautiful weekend. Had a lot to do in the yard so was grateful it was so nice.

Karen - I read about those workouts in the OD Forum. Will have to check these out.

Laurie - Now you can relax tonight that your workouts are all done for the day. :D

Hi, Susan and Lala!

Here's what I've been up to the last few days:

Saturday - housework at my Mom's (cleaned every room, washed windows and finished up the yardwork) - not by myself, I had help ;)

Sunday - Kelly Coffey-Meyer's NYC + 3 Imax2 blasts + yardwork

Monday - Jogged/walked 3 miles outside + 1 mile Leslie inside

We checked in today in our BL contest here at work and I had the highest percentage lost! I'm down 8 pounds in a little over 2 weeks. I was a little surprised when I got on the scale this morning and saw I was down another pound since Friday because DH and I went out to eat Saturday night at a really nice restaurant and I had wine, salad, bread and steak with these rich, yummy potatoes. I limited myself to 1 piece of bread and only ate half my entree. The food was so rich I was definitely satisfied with that even though it doesn't sound like much. My meal came with chocolate mousse but I had them wrap that and let the kids eat it yesterday.

No walk today because we have a Benefits meeting over my lunch period. (Ugh! Who schedules a meeting as 12:00?! HR does, that's who.) At least that gives me a chance to checkin with you guys so it's not so bad.

Have a good rest of the day!

Hi! Yes, it was a beautiful weekend. Thurs I went to De Pere and spent the night with DD21, had a conference in Appleton Fri, but was able to get in a 4.5 mi run over the lunch hour! Sat I skated and mowed. Now the lawn is done til the spring :D
Today I got in a 3 mile run

Laurie, I´m grateful for those 43 minute workouts...I can sleep longer!!

Karen, I´ll have to check that site. You are doing lots of HIIT, how are you liking it? and are your workouts shorter due to the high intensity...i always like that! but also want to consider the heart health factor...like is 20 minute of HIIT equivalent of the recommendations of the AHA for heart health?

Sue,The housecleaning alone is a huge workout! CONGRATS on the weight loss!! keep it up:D

Hi susan!

Hi all,

Today I am doing some cardio, as usual, dont know what.

Sue, congrats on losing the biggest percentage of weight so far. Nice workouts over the weekend. Great job only eating part of you meal and no dessert. Not sure I would have that much will power. Glad you had time to check in.

Lala, still doing reg. cardio at least two days a week. Just adding the HIIT workouts on my weight days. It would be good to find out if those workouts all the time are as heart healthy as longer sessions. You are just one running machine. Nice job. I was wondering if you had done much skating this year.

Susan, did you get your kettlebell?

Laurie, How far are you running when you run as of late.

Take care and have a good day.

Hi Ladies! Sorry I forgot to check-in yesterday! My weekend was crazy! Basketball Saturday from 8am until 2:30, then tried to get some house work done and take DS to a Bday party and work on Sunday School. Sunday I cleaned the yard, the shed, all the windows in and out, the garage, put away all the Summer stuff and took out all the winter stuff. I was busy from 12pm - 5:30! I was tired! Monday I got on the elliptical for a 40mn cardio endurance workout. Went 5.4 miles. Today I have to mow the lawn after work plus I want to do a Pilates workout but DD said she thinks she has a Parents night for her Forensics tonight. Guess I'll find out when she gets home from school!:p

Sue, Awesome job on the weight loss!! Woo Hoo!! :D

Karen, I looked at the Kettle Bells at one store I was at but did not get to the store I have the coupon for yet! So far this coming weekend looks free so I hope to get there then! I am thinking the 20 pounder....

Laurie, isn't it great to get those workouts out of the way for the day? Unlike me who over-slept today and is grumpy about it!

Hi Lala! Did you run outside when you were in Appleton or on a TM?

Have a great day ladies!!!

Susan

Morning Ladies,

This morning was BFBM, just love that workout. :D

Karen, I will have to check out that Hiit. I have only been running between 2-3 miles on my weight days. I'm just not ready to go any longer than that. :D

Sue, Congrats on the having the highest % of weight loss. What great restraint you had at the resturant, don't know if I could have done the same. ;)

Lala, How nice to spend some time with your DD, and still get in a conference. :) I think that the biggest benifit from Hiit is the cardio endurance that you get from only doing a 20 min. workout. I notice that I can run faster or do an exercise longer after I have done Hiit.

Susan, I noticed a lot of people cleaning out their garages on Sunday, so it must have felt like spring cleaning. :D I love when our children give us details like that at the last minute.

Have a great day!

I think this reply will move us back to page 1!
today was disk 15, Back and Bis.

wow, Karen and Laurie, you add cardio on weight days? Honestly I see the benefit, but I think it would wipe me out

Susan, you really had a busy weekend... no need for extra workouts! I see you were busy during the Packer game...lucky you! :(

Sue, Hope I can have some of your restraint. Tonight our Bible study group is first going to hear a Holocaust survivor and then go out for dessert  But even as I write that, it doesn´t seem to complement each other, do they? I wonder if we´ll feel like eating?

Morning BB's,

Well since our union negotiated a day off for today, I'm not at work! :D I still got up at my normal time, and have Disc 23 Legs done. Around 10 or 11 am I want to get in a short run. Otherwise I will get some housework done, and do a grocery list. Yes I sure do have fun on my day off of work! Only 1 more day of Meso 2 left, I'm very happy with my purchase of STS. :D I'm still amazed that I was afraid of doing these workouts.

Lala, I will probably be second guessing my decision to run on a leg dat at around 10am. :D We will see. How was the presentation you saw last night, hope it wasn't to depressing.

Have a great day!

Good Morning,

Yesterday I ended up doing BFBM, got the idea from Laurie. I read her post and decided I would do it too. Today I am doing 4DS bi/tri and HIIT on my spin bike to my beloved Cardio Coach.

Have a Bible study this morning so I am hoping to get it all in. It seems like when morning is over I can't workout anymore.

Susan, nice job on all the cleaning. Now when it's cold you can tackle the inside. We got all our yardwork and window cleaning done over the weekend also. I am so excited you are getting a kettlebell. Fun Fun.:)

Laurie, way to get up and get moving even on your vacation day. It is suppose to be nice again. If you run it should be the warmest part of the day. I can't believe you can run and do leg day --the same day.

Lala, thanks for getting us to page 1 again. We need to stagger our posts so we don't keep getting bumped off the first page. I'll bet last night was informative and sad. Hope you had a good time of fellowship and a good piece of dessert.

Sue, :D

Howdy!:) So far I ran 3 miles this morning. Ruby actually wanted to run and not "hunt"! Probably cause it was only 30 degrees outside! My sweaty hair was frozen when I got home!:p I hope to do BFBM after school as well.

Got the lawn mowed yesterday and did pilates. I can always tell when I have not been precticing pilates enough, cause I am a bit stiff during the stretches!

Did you watch last nights BL? Can't believe someone got sent home but I sure hope she shocks us all at the finale! ;)

Laurie, sounds like how I'd spend my day off too! Hope your run is warmer than mine!

Karen, enjoy your Bible study. I still need to look into getting CC for when I use the elliptical....

HI Lala! How was your speaker last night? I am always so moved when I hear survivors or family members speak of the Holocaust.

Hi Sue!
Have a good day! Susan

Well I guess I can say Good Afternoon!

Laundry folded ~ Done
Run Outdoors with Dog ~ Done
Peacan Crusted Goat Cheese and Cranberry Salad ~ Next to be eaten :D

I know you all don't need to know what I'm doing all day long, but I thought I would help bump the thread! :D

Now why don't come over and fold MY laundry and make me some of that salad?!

Hope you're enjoying yourself!:p

Almost bedtime!!
Did disk 3 legs...am sure I'll be feeling it tomorrow. Felt my traps all day today...but a good sore!

The speaker last night was really good. The interesting thing was that although she mentioned the horrors, her focus was on life lessons she learned and the forgiveness she was able to extend to the Nazis. She and her twin were part of Mengele's "experiements". So, it was a more positive message, but sure left a lot of food for thought...speaking of which, we didn't end up going out after all!!

Laurie, nice day off...that's pretty much what I do, too! Minus the extra run! And minus the yummy salad!

Karen, you sure had a productive day!

Susan, yep, the mornings are getting cold :(

Hi Sue!

Now off to bed:)

Good Morning,

Today I am doing hi/lo knockout and abs.

Susan, nice run. I was surprised to see that person go home too. She really needed to be there. That will make Bob happy his beloved is still there. Did you get BFBM in yesterday too?

Laurie, you had a busy day. How was the salad? Did you feed any to your family? Glad you updated us on your day. It's fun to read what others are doing.

Lala, we did that work over the weekend. I didn't do it yesterday. Today I have to clear everything out of our added mudroom so the electrician can hook up everything. Where to put it all and rolls of insulation to boot. It sounds like the speaker was a blessing.

We are having a character program instead of a Holiday program now. Christmas program was gone years ago, now Holiday. The kids have to wear character counts t shirts and sing songs about character.:(:(:(:(:( What is this world coming to when we can't even celebrate the real reason for this time of year, especially Christmas.

Rant over.

Have a great day.

Morning Ladies,

Todays workout was KCM's 30MTF Kickboxing Premix #1 and I also added in the Ab segment that is on this DVD. I should probably do that one more often, I'm feeling my abs right now. :D

Susan, The run in the afternoon was really very nice, and I had to unzip my jacket during the run. :D Sorry to hear that yours was so cold though.

Lala, Good to hear that the speaker was so inspirational. I sure could use a day off in the middle of the week every week. Sure was nice just to relax. ;)

Karen, The salad was very good, and my family isn't that fond of goat cheese, so no they didn't get any. :D It is sad that we have become so politically correct. So much so that things like the Ft. Hood shooting could happen. OK now my rant is over! ;)

Have a great day!

Hi, ladies!

Susan & Karen - I didn't like that person being sent home on BL either! Maybe they'll bring her back next season like they did Daniel.

Laurie - Lucky you had the day off yesterday! Yummy sounding salad.

Lala - I would have loved to hear that speaker! Probably would have cried though. Anything the least bit emotional and I'm a faucet.

Speaking of having days off (Laurie :)), I'm off tomorrow! A bunch of us are being wined and dined tonight as a thank you for all the hard work we put into this project (which was never actually implemented but that's another story) and will be out late. Decided to take the day off so I could sleep in. I'm down a total of 10 pounds now but I'll have to watch it tonight. I'm going to enjoy myself but try not to go too far overboard.

Have a great day! Will probably checkin tomorrow while I'm lazing around in my pajamas at 2:00 in the afternoon. :p Just kidding. Hope to be working out by then and a dozen other things.

Hello!

Yesterday I did get BFBM in. When I came upstairs DS and DH were asking me why they heard so much grunting. I told them to go down and do that workout and see what they do!:p

Today I meant to get up early and run because I have parent/teacher conferences tonight. BUT, I forgot all about the darn conferences and talked myself into sleeping in! I hope to squeeze in Bootcamp or at least jump on the elliptical for a quickie! :D

Lala, I would have really liked to hear a speaker like that!

Laurie, glad you had a nice day. I like feeling my abs after a tough workout as well!

Karen, that's too bad that they take the spirit out of the Season like that. Our kids give a Holiday concert and the music teacher usually tries to "sneak" in some traditional Christmas songs.

Sue, 10 pounds!! Woo Hoo!! Way to go! You are doing so great! I am very jealous of you right now!;) I have lost 8 but seem to be stuck this week.... Keep up the good work. Enjoy your night and the day off tomorrow!

Take care ladies- Susan

Good afternoon! Today was IMax 3 intervals only...that was intense!

Karen, ditto on the PC stuff...

Susan, my conferences are next week, so I´m already thinking about how I have no optional sleep-in days:confused: But I have next Fri off:D and congrats on the 8 lbs!

Sue, enjoy your night out and day off...and a HUGE congrats on the weight loss...10 lbs!!!!

Laurie, I don´t do abs as often as I should, so when I do them boy do I feel it

Morning BB's,

Meso 2 is done, Disc 24 Back & Biceps finished for today. I also was able to get in the extended stretch. :D My back was feeling a little stiff this morning, so thought that might help. I think the stiffness was from the KCM Abs, alot of twisting in that one. ;)

Sue, Enjoy your day off, looks like it will be a nice day for a little while anyway. ;) Congrats on the weight loss, and keep up the good work.

Susan, ROTFLOL!!!! I would LOVE for my family to try out BFBM, and not a) grunt b) talk to the TV c) get sweat in your eyes d) get sweat on your mat e) bend over and try to catch your breath  I'm sure I could think of more. :D

Lala, I'm that way with stretching I tend to avoid it, so when I actually have a chance to get some in I start to think I probably should do that more often. My back sure felt much better after that stretch this morning. I really need to make the effort on Sunday to get in StretchX, that one is really really good.

Have a great weekend,
