BUFF BADGERS 11/9-11/13

Hi,

Today I did Ploy Legs disk 29 and the extended stretch. Planned on adding on more plyo but the dog is sick and I have to keep stopping to see if he needs to go outside. Hope to get a run in over the weekend, while DH is hunting. The older kids are going to Mall of America with their church youth group. DS11 has basketball practice and DD7 is having afriend over for the night and till noon tomorrow.

Laurie, good job on finishing meso 2. Another rest week coming at you. KCM twists a lot in all of her ab workouts I think.

Susan, nice weight loss. You will be at your goal well before Thanksgiving. Actually didnt you already lose more than you were shooting for? Did you get your workout in last night?

Lala, Imax 3 intervals only premix is a goodie. Dont you love HIIT?

Sue, not expecting you to check in for a few more hours yet. How was your dining last night? Nice job on the 10 pounds. Amazing.

Good afternoon! I've been so, so lazy today. All I've done so far is workout and watch TV. Feels good not having to be anywhere or do anything today.

Karen - Haven't heard the weather forecast for this weekend but I hope it's nice enough to get that run in. Sounds like your house will be pretty quiet for a few hours while some are off shopping and hunting.

Laurie - Glad the stretch helped your back. Those twisting ab moves make me sore, too, although I like the way my middle feels slimmer the next day.

Susan - Congrats on YOUR weight loss! 8 pounds is great! I still have quite a few to go so it's probably easier for me than you (although I've certainly gotten "stuck" myself in the past :confused:). Keep going - it'll come off.

Lala - Imax3 intervals only?! (gulp) :eek: That sounds tough.

Last night's dinner was AWESOME! They served 6 courses including dessert and 4 different wines. I sampled everything but didn't finish anything and was still stuffed! We had bruschetta, proscuitto wrapped prawn with salad, proscuitto pizza, pasta with bolognese sauce, filet and I chose tiramisu for dessert. We had 2 white wines, 1 red and 1 sparkling dessert wine. Plus they had beer and wine in the limo and cocktails at the comedy club. I switched over to water at the comedy club because being the wimp I am, just cannot handle much liquor any more.

Today I did a couple of 30 min. Gilad segments on Fit TV, Buns of Steel step workout w/Lynn Brick and a few cardio segments from Results. I love to mish mosh like this. Feels like I'm never doing the same workout twice.

Off to shower and get something done before the kids get home from school. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
 
Hi gang! Last night was a bust workout wise. So I called it my "off" day for the week. Oh well. After conferences I was busy helping kids with homework and doing house work.:confused: So, right now I am heading down to do Cathe's Bootcamp.

Haven't got much planned this weekend. Need to get DD her winter coats/boots and DS needs new shoes for school. Also want to go get that Kettle bell!! :) I want to run tomorrow morning and do something else.... Sunday I will be on the elliptical for an hour while the Packers kick the Cowboys butt (I hope!) I think I'll do 2 separate 30mn workouts on it that day.

Karen, enjoy the quiet! Hope your puppy feels better soon!

Laurie, I am so glad there are others out there that go through the same stuff I do when doing BFBM! I often wonder, do others sweat this much too??? LOL! I am thinking of ordering KCM Cardio Blast this weekend...
