BUFF BADGERS 10/18-10/22

Today was another day off. Can´t seem to shake this cold, so am moving my rest week up. Sometimes, though I am so anal I feel guilty if I don´t work out...is that a sign of an addict? :confused::p :eek:

I almost stayed home from work, but since my kids are testing and it is SOOO easy to cheat with subs, i went in and will probably go in tomorrow, although staying home sounds good. Getting a sub is more work, I think :(

Heartymax, I love both CCC and MM. Good workouts!

Susan, that must have been one lovely run :p ! But I bet it cleared things up and out! I should try that. I´m going to Cleveland over Thanks and found a 5 miler that i need to train for!

Laurie, It´s nice when that rest week comes and you don´t feel you can not do anything...you´re in great shape!

Karen, not doing a rotation per se just pretty much cardio, weight, cardio weights , etc. Can´t remember STS 9 is that a plyo one? Haven´t touched STS for a while. Think I´ll try an undulating one within the next month or so.
 
Morning Ladies,

Did a P90X Plus combo this morning. Kenpo and Intervals, and just took out a cool down and a warm up. It came out to be around 70 min., and now I question why I don't do these workouts more often. My legs felt a little wobbly afterwards. :D

heartymax, Oh you are one crazy lady, you like those leg presses! :eek: Not my fav at all. :D ;) Glad you enjoy them though.

Susan, Dang on the congestion, sending healing vibes to both you and your dd. CS would be a good one, probably a wise choice.

Lala, Sending healing vibes your way too. I had to chuckle at about getting a sub. I couln't help dd with three math problems, and she said she would ask her teacher in the morning. And then she said, "I just hope there isn't a sub." ;)

Today I ran 5 1/2 miles and did some yoga for lower back.

Laurie, can you buy the P90X plus separate? How do you think fast and furious compares to pure cardio? Nice workout. I get up and 4:45.

Lala, sorry you are not feeling well yet. Disk 9 is in the first meso endurance. Glad it is a Fri. for you so you can relax and get better.

Susan, nice job on the run even though you were miserable. A true buff badger.

Susan and Lala ----I hope you feel better soon so you can get back to your normal routine. But rest while your body is telling you to do so.

Laurie-----yes, i do love those leg presses with the band in MM. I wouldn't say that I enjoy all leg presses, but I like those. For one reason---is the step isn't that high on those.

Today was a rest day for me! My son has a walk a thon in the morning with his school club and he has to be there very very early. I am not sure if I will be able to get in my workout and get him there on time. Now I am starting to think I should have worked out today. I just forgot about all this stuff going on tomorrow.
 
Hello! Today was P90X Core Synergistics. That was a goodie. Saturday is a 4.5 mile run and Sunday will probably be a hike with Ruby and pilates, if it's not raining.

Laurie, another great workout is your house! I am doing a bit better today. Mornings are the worst, then I am get better as the day goes on.

Karen, I will be so happy on the day I run 5.5 miles! Great job! Are you guys done biking now? He have a county trail that goes between 4 cities that we hike on. It's very pretty/ rustic. I love it this time of year when the leaves are changing.

Heartymax, I have done that before too, taken a rest day and realized the next day would be too hectic to schedule a workout. But on those days. I just try to eat really healthy and tell myself my body needs to rest as much as it needs the exercise!:D
