Brief rest after pyramid sets?

This is a quick question for anyone to answer. Today I did two sections from Cathe's Strong & Heavy series -- and as people know the crew does a short one minute rest after each set.

After the S&H sections, I did my own series of pyramid sets (nine in all), of seated bodybar shoulder presses. This section on my own is to increase shoulder strength. I was wondering if one should take a short rest after each set, or not.

If your goal is to build strength, I would wait at least one minute between set. In STS Meso 3, Cathe has a 3-minute rest between sets for the same body part to allow the muscles to recover.
