Just wanted to see how Brenda is doing since her Ironman fracture last year? Since IMWI is comming up again wondering if she is training for another one? Would love to hear how she is doing? She is my inspiration for doing an IM.

she just finished ironman lake placid with a personal best time (beat her last time by 50 minutes, i believe she said!)
coachtroy.com does a really good job of keeping up with brenda and letting people know how she's doing!

I talked with Brenda for a while at the July RT. She's so awesome. I adore her! I believe she said that she beat her last ironman time by 50 seconds, though. Not 50 minutes. Just to clarify. 
She said she had the best time ever at Lake Placid this year and felt great during the whole thing. She said her hip is as good as new and never gave her a moment's trouble.

OHH Thanks all for the info. That is great and she is such a motivation. I will have to go to IMWI 2009 just to watch her.
