Breast pumps

I am going to buy a breast pump and leaning toward the medela advance pump with the back pack. I have read good things online about this pump. Anybody have any other suggestiong on good breast pumps?

i used the medela pump n style regular and LOVED it. i could pump and clean up at work in 12 minutes! it made a huge difference to my office manager and was not really an inconvenience. i think the main difference with the advance was the bag style - if that is worth it to you for the extra $$, go for it. hope this helps

I was looking at the regular model and the adavanced and honestly i hear good things about both of them. I wasnt sure if it was really worth the extra 70 dollars however. I am going to get some coupons in the mail and with the discounts i will get the advanced product for the same price as the regular model. both the pumps look the same even though they claim to do different things.

I have both----I pumped exclusively with my daughter even though I am a stay at home mom.

I like the Advanced better---for the first two minutes, it has a letdown feature which gets it going quicker! I think that is the major difference between the two of them. I don't know how to describe it, but I would be done pumping in 10 minutes.

The regular was given to me by a friend and I kept it at my parents house for when I was visiting them out of town. It worked well, it was a good pump, but I preferred the Advance.

I am planning to pump again with baby #2, due in January, and doing the same thing.
