Brazil Butt Lift -- Like it?

How does everyone like their BBL?

I'm ready to purchase a new workout to tone my lower body, especially the butt and hips. Are you glad that you bought this DVD?

Thanks!

I bought the less expensive package, and really do love it--especially High and Tight and Cardio Axe. I have some problems executing the moves properly in Bum Bum, but I definitely felt it in my butt the next day. I also love Physique 57 for my lower body. I have only done Sculpt (from BBL) once, and would characterize it as intermediate. I lost inches on Physique 57 when I never did with heavy barbell squats and lunges, but I think everyone is different. I have STS and substituted P-57 and BBL for the legs disks when I did STS the second time.

I love BBL. I have the less expensive one. I haven't yet used it by itself but, I do use them in-between weight lifting DVD's or with other workouts. I definitely have DOM's after each use, so I know it's working for me.

These are so worth purchasing! If for anything else, just to confuse your body even more.

I have the basic set, too.

Bum-Bum is quite different from anything I have. Workout moves quickly from one thing to the next so it gets a lot done in 30 minutes. Bum-Bum live and rapido are not premixes, but completely different workouts.

High and Tight is essentially floorwork, although it starts with a standing section. I generally dislike floorwork, but Leandro makes the workout good with short sets and frequent stretch breaks.

Sculpt I've only done once. It seems like a decent toning workout with a lot of compound moves.

Cardio Axe is very dancey. I felt like a complete goofball the first couple of times I did it! I like this workout, though, as I don't own any other "dance" cardio workouts so it's something different in my collection.

Tummy Tuck is a pretty challenging core workout. Leandro is very mellow in this one. I did it yesterday and have some lower ab DOMS, so that's good!

All in all, I thought the system is worth the $60 + shipping that it costs and I've been enjoying it!

Love it! So much so I just ordered the deluxe set. The WOs are fun, move quickly, and get in there good, and I find Leandro's personality and accent to be adorable. His legs aren't too bad to look at, either. :p

Hey, Princess Bear's back! We missed you, Mary!

Okay, I've heard that BBL has a bunch of sexy damned-near-pre-pubescent background exercisers in the workouts, and that the workouts are a bit silly. I don't mind a bit of silliness, in fact, I enjoy it (unless it's at Kathy Smith-Gidget level silly) but the hot pre-teens are kinda putting me off of ordering. Anyone have any thoughts on this aspect of BBL?

WHAT?? The backgrounders aren't "vintage" age to be sure, but they're easily in their 20s. One woman you'll recognize from Insanity. There are also 2 guys in the weight workouts. BBL can be cheesy fun but there's ZERO sleaze factor. There's a big difference between the two!

Best of all--like others have said here and in previous threads--the workouts themselves are excellent and Leandro is spectacular as an instructor--superb cueing and sequencing. :)

I was very hesitatnt to purchase this workout but broke down and got it. I have to admit that I really like it. I thought I was advanced cardio wise until I did the bum bum, it really tests my limits, my heart rate stays between 150-170 for the entire 30 min. I tend to do step workouts the most so this is a really nice change for me. I avoid butts and gutts as it always bothers my back and this workout does not do this. I never get DOMS from this but I always know I've worked the tush hard. I wish I had bought the deluxe edition.

I've heard a lot of people say it looked silly in the infomercials, but found it completely professional once viewed at home. I have yet to hear anyone complain about the people in the DVD's.

I bought it and ended up sending it back. The exercises are basic lunges, he just does lots of variations hitting the glutes from all angles, same with the floor work. I didnt really like the dancy stuff, felt dumb. I figured I'd save my money and get cathes interval workouts.

I really enjoy the BBL workout. So far I've done BumBum but not the other two-which sound fun as well. And oh yeah! You will feel it big time the next morning... and the morning after that. It's just a fun refreshing yet effective workout! I'm still working on not feeling silly during some of the more "dancy" moves.

OMG I was MISSED?? You just made my day. I've basically been lurking after recovering from ANOTHER shoulder surgery (this time rotator cuff and ac joint)... feeling a bit out of sorts without any real workouts. Joined a gym to get some variations of cardio in and was reminded after 2 weeks why I don't belong to a gym... just not my thing. So... am starting with BBL and some Cathe floor work for legs until doc gives the okay for light upper body!

Thanks for the shout out ... I've missed contributing and will try to be better.:D:D:D
