BOSU ???????????????

Hi All,

What is this new fitness gadget ? Has anyone bought one ? What on Earth do you do with it ?
I would be grateful if someone could post some info on this machine ? And, does anyone else think it is also very expensive ?

Hi, Anna! Bosu IS a fitness gadget that was invented a couple of years ago and is being heavily promoted at fitness conventions as a core stabilization and balance training device. I think (and I could be wrong) that it's like a half-ball flat on the floor, and you stand on it and balance and jump on it and hope you don't break your neck, etc. I think you can find it on the Perform Better (www.perform-better.com) catalog website. It's probably pretty expensive for the non-trainer or non-instructor; new gizmos usually are.

Don't you just hate it when there is something new? I can't afford to keep buying equipment (no space or money). But I suppose they have to keep making money somehow.

Hi All,

Just checked out those links and I don't think I will be investing in BOSU, it does look like an easy way to break your neck ! I think I will stick to my stability ball !
