Borrowing a YaYa's thread: Do you look like a famous person?

Has anyone ever told you that you resemble someone famous?

Over the years I've gotten the following:

Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction (how is that a compliment? She was downright scary in that movie!).

Laura Dern (especially in Jurassic Park)

Kelly Lynch (blonde woman in Curly Sue)

And just this week Julia Roberts (not in looks, but in spunky attitude. I was so excited).

What a fun idea!

At my prom, the photographer said, "Has anyone ever told you that you like like Rose McGowan...but not in a scary way?" She's Marilyn Manson's ex-girlfriend. She was in the first Scream but had blond hair and in Jawbreaker. I guess we're both really pale and petite.

My dad and sister think I look like Winona Ryder in Mr. Deeds. I really don't think so, but again, we're both kind of short, and at that time, she had highlighted hair and so did I.

A co-worker told me I reminded her of Nicole Kidman. I see that one a little- I had really curly hair, but brown, not blond, again very pale, similar eyes & nose. However, Nicole would tower over me and she's way thinner lol.

My therapist actually reminds me a lot of Allison Janney from the West Wing.

My Uncle Mike looked a lot like Christopher (Sopranos) in his younger days and really resembles Tony now.

My ex-boyfriend looks like Brady from Days of Our Lives but wasn't as nice a guy lol!

It's a strange strange world lol!

I was once approached by a person who put on a "lookalike" show. He thought I looked like Liza Minelli (talking 30 years ago!).
 
Cute thread! A lady I work with has always said I look like Tonya Harding!....YUK!.....at least I don't act like her...:)...and my father-in-law and a few others think I look like that female golfer Annika...(can't remember how to spell her last name).....:)...Carole
 
Appaently I resemble anyone who has long curly hair.
When my little girl was just 2 she would look at the Amanda Marshel c.d case and say "mommy"? And of couse Julie Roberts back in the pretty women days.
We also have a pitcure hung up at work and the lady in it is side on,but she has wavy hair...and everyone who comes in to the shop,says "is that you"? Yeah,Im a model on the side.Then there is a 5 yr old that comes in and she argues black and blue..."yes Lori that is you" To cute
Like I said, I pretty much look like whoever has long curly hair at the time.Doesn't matter what the face looks like...weird hey?
And people in this town always get me mixed up with anyone else in this town who has curly hair.I don't mind as long as those other girls are staying out of trouble.The next thing you know,there will be a rumors flying around that I was leaving some bar with some guy who wasn't my husband!

I was once told I look like Linda Rhonstadt (sp?), but that was WAY back in college the first time, during her "Mad Love" punk days.

I get told alot I look like Meg Ryan and ironically my husband gets Tom Hanks along w/Regis Philbin and Frankie Avalon (he doesn't take those as compliments). I'm also lucky to have a brother-in-law who looks like Mel Gibson!:D

It's funny Sabine, I always pictured you in my mind as having dark hair looking like the girl to Cathe's right w/long dark hair in the ponytail and very tall! Laura Dern, Kelly Lynch, Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts- wow!

I've been told I look like everyone from Julia Roberts to Madonna (when she wore her hair dark). But now that I'm older the comparisions have died down. I'm still told, however, that I resemble Molly Ringwald, Shannon Dougherty and Lara Flynn Boyle (pre-anorexic days). Basically if they're Irish looking, I'm told I resemble them--even though I'm not Irish!
 
How Fun!

I used to get Julia Louis-Dreyfus a lot. I think it's the hair. I used to pull mine back off my forehead like she did in Seinfeld (the early years).

But my favorite of all time: my SO told me I look like Cathe :) I don't think so...except we're about the same height and have similar hair. But she's much more buff :)

When I was in Junior high I was told I tooked like Candace Cameron. Then in High school someone said I looked like Jody Foster. Big difference in looks of people, don't you think? Ha, ha!
I think the last thinkg I got was I looked like CAmeron Diaz, but there is no way I look like her I don't know what that person was on, but I want some of that! Ha, ha! My smile is not as big, I'm not that tall and I'm not nearly as thin. Maybe my hair, maybe, but that is all!

I've been told I look like a young Bridget Bardot...I remind people of those old, sex-kitten types you used to see in the movies.

Cher from her sonny and cher days, and when I used to wear my hair big and curly I looked like her in the eighties. I get it ALL the time! Still dont see it.......
 
I don't look like anybody famous but, oddly enough, somebody is always telling me I look just like their wife's sister.

I get a lot of comments that I look like Jennifer Connelly. I guess I have similar facial features and the same long, dark hair. I usually take that a complement because I think she is quite beautiful.
