Hi Cathe! I heard that you were doing BC classes at your gym!! (I sure wish I could be there!) Anyway, I just started teaching BC classes at my local little gym and wondered if you have any favorite moves that you would share with a newbie? Thanks so much!!

Thanks for introducing yourself Jen. Here is a link to the Cathe TV segment which has some of the moves I do with my students in class. I have a stationary sample and then a traveling station. I have a very large room so I am able to do a lot of things that are not common for this reason. http://tv.cathe.com/sts-week-8b/

If you are able to set up stations that is popular with my students too. Do 6 rotating stations. After one minute at a station, you blow the whistle and everybody moves over the right to the next station. An example of some stations are:

1) Jumping jacks
2) squat thrusts
3) lateral skates
4) jump rope
5) squat jumps
6) jog in place

Or weights stations:

1) Bicep curls
2) Deadrows
3) push ups
4) Dips
5) lateral raises
6) planks
