Cathlete
Hi everyone. I'm new to posting. I've been lurking for a while though. ;-) I've been doing Cathe workouts for 3 years now and am addicted. I own many of her DVD's, but I am curious what some of you think of bootcamp versus 4DS.
I'm boy-shaped (very small boobs - hahahaha), but pear shaped, too, as I tend to carry my extra weight in hips, butt and thighs. I had my 2nd child a year ago and I am still not where I would like to be. Specifically, I would like to lose about 5-10 more pounds to get to my pre-baby weight and lose inches in my lower body so I can fit into more of my pre-baby jeans. My 10-year reunion is coming up ... and well, you know the story. I would like to get in better shape, if possible.
Currently I'm doing about 4-5 cardio only workouts a week (like Imax 2, Lowmax and Kickmax) and then 1 arm workout and 1 leg workout or a combined weight workout like Muscle Max. Is this a good way to lose inches? -- beefing up the cardio as opposed to concentrating on weights? I want to get a few more DVD's to help motivate myself ... so, with the goals I just outlined, would bootcamp or 4DS be a better choice?
Sorry for the long post .... I would appreciate and love any input. Oh, and I'm also *trying* to clean up my eating, too, as I know this is probably the biggest reason why I haven't lost the extra weight. Haha.... ahhh, chocolate!
THANKS!
