Second time through this workout totally rocks! I put my step up in the front of my workout space and didn't have to move it once - that was great bc you don't need much space to do the step portions....

I totally got the tricep dip thing on the ball :) Like someone else suggested I just didn't try to use the thing underneath and my ball was totally stable!

I give it a 10 - - for fun

I do have to say though the cardio is still just an 8 for difficulty - - my heartrate totally gets up there, but I think if I were to do it twice through - that would be awesome!!! Only because its shorter do I give it an 8......
 
BC is my favorite! I did it yesterday and it goes by so fast b/c it is sooo much fun!!! I love it :)

Me too! Its my favorite. Although I did the Kickbox/legs this am, and was totally wiped at the end! I think its a fantastic workout too.
 
I agree! I normally don't like bootcamp type workouts, but this one is a keeper. I did the 4DS series for the first time this week starting Monday, and felt like an extra cardio yesterday. And what did I do? The 4DS kickbox/BC combined aerobics. For a BC-hater, that's a ringing endorsement.

These are some great workouts!
 
Love it. Although it is not as hard as it looks. During my preview, I didn't think I would make it through. But it turned out to be alot of fun and do-able. It is a TEN!
 
Does anyone else think those "suicides" can be made a lot tougher if you use 15 & 20lb dbs instead of the 3s and 5s I chose? LOL!

For me, Bootcamp was the toughest cardio out of the 4DS and I would compare some of the drills to the intensity of some of the blasts in IMAX 3. I got through the first 10 drills okay although my heart rate went through the roof up to 97% on the fast feet repeaters. I ran out of steam in the 11th and 12th drills but only missed the last set of the zig zag drill and the last 8 pushups in drill 12. I haven't done an IMAX in awhile so maybe my endurance was down a little bit.

I'll have to pass on using heavy DBs on the suicide drills for now.

I did BC again this morning and that last drill kills me. I just watch them do the last set of pushups! The triceps kill me too. Man, how in the world can Cathe lift a 30lb dumbbell over her head!?!?! x(

I love it though! Fun stuff.

Love, love, love bootcamp. I did it for the first time yesterday and it is definitely my type of workout. I have to agree with that last set of pushups in the last drill. I watched Cathe and the gang do the last four.

It can be done. I used a 31# dbbl. I have strong triceps. Matching Cathe on chest...now, that's another story.

I thought I would not like this, but I really, really had fun doing it for the first time this morning. Only one problem....the dog seems to think me running around is time for play. Makes the suicides even harder, dodging the dog.
 
I only have problems with my dog when it gets to floorwork. He likes to nudge right up against me and he thinks floorwork is his time to lick me all over. Chest flies are hard enough without a dog under your arm. He's only ten pounds but I really have to shove him
out of the way. He doesn't want to budge.

I didn't think I would like it either and had a blast doing it the first time. The time just flew by.
 
She is a golden mix, about 35 pounds. She does like to lick the sweat off my face when doing crunches which makes me nuts.
