I just received my workout pants from hotskins - and boy, do they feel great. But they're about 6 inches to long, boo hoo ;(. I'm going to have to send them back. What a disappointment.

It seems as though hotskins is under the impression that everyone who works out is about 5'8" - 5'10", whether they wear small, medium, or large. I've looked through their catalog and on their website - do they offer any petite sized pants? Maybe I missed it.

Anyone else had this experience with Hotskin pants?

If you really really like them, they are not difficult to alter. You can have them hemmed professionally for about 5 dollars or you can you it yourself with a new sewing item called "stitch witch". It is a fusable material that you just iron in. So simple and you can keep your pants:)
 
That's a great idea. I had thought of it, but I was afraid I'd ruin the fabric because it's tricky sewing stretchy fabric.

Thanks for the tip. I may just take them to a seamstress. I also will also email Hotskins and let them know I loved the pants but could they please please please offer petite lengths in their pants. Infact, I'll do that right now.

Hotskins Update

For anyone interested, here is the answer I received from Hotskins regarding petite length workout pants:


We will not be offering petites in the future, as our market has not demanded it enough to justify the expense. However, we are beginning a chain of retail stores, so this could change the demand greatly, allowing for us to make petites.



Maybe if more of us emailed Hotskins about this, they would change their minds. I can't be the only large-sized short woman on this forum interested in buying top quality workout pants! ;)

Or am I?
