You mean "mesomorph" (tends towards muscle)? Endomorph is more like Rosie O'Donnel (tends towards fat).

It said I'm an ecto/meso, but I think it's off. Another test (online, from some dude who sells a weight-training program...can't remember the name) said I was an ecto/endo, which is pretty much what I had figured out myself. (The only "meso" on my might be my calves!)

Primarily a mesomorph. I bulk up much more than my goal if I'm not very attentive to the amount of weight I use. I also have some flab on top of it, though, so I'm part flabomorph as well (I love that term--I am definitely stealing it!!!)

Nope, Kathryn, I think I mean endomorph, as in big and round. Big round tummy, big round head. But he is super strong too. Hmmmm. The categories never made much sense to me.

Thanks for the link, Anne. According to the test I'm a mesomorph, but I'm certain I'm part flabomorph, too. Love the terminology on that one.

Wow! Even though I have a very small frame, and my thumb and middle finger overlap around my wrist, I'm closest to being a mesomorph, not an ectomorph after all. I was wrong. Thanks for posting the quiz.

Thanks, Anne, for the link!
I thought I was probably a combination and according to the link I am endo and meso...can't complain.:)

Nancy, this was me exactly. Meso with a little ecto. Always thought I was an ecto with a little bit of endo but after reading what kind of training I should do, it sounded right. For me, workouts like Slow & Heavy and Gym Styles are better than Muscle Endurance. I've found I lost weight more when doing more strength training and less cardio and keeping my diet in check.

Yeah, I thought it might be a bit off, too. I've never thought of myself as muscular or able to put muscle on easily. I guess I'm back to "I have no idea."

Nancy, I think most people are a combo of types (except maybe Ecto Paris Hilton or Endo Rosie O'Donnell?). I was thinking you'd meant meso, because you mentioned his strong muscles (NOT the fat over them, LOL!). Maybe he's a meso/endo? (muscle and fat?)

Can you be all three? That's what I think I am. I'm quite tall with a lean but very muscular upper body and a not-so-lean lower body (muscles are there, just not as visible). I think that makes me a freakomorph.
