I was wondering if you taught Body Pump classes, I've just read an earlier post where you stated that you do (can you feel where this is going?
). Do you plan to release a Body Pump style video anytime in the near future?
I kept saying to myself and my sister that I needed to get a barbell set, and my sister decided to surprise me with a Body Pump video that came with a 40lb barbell set. I absolutely love this workout. I really enjoy the New Zeland instructors, the powerful, loud, driving music and the choreography.
I have to admit, the first time I did the video, I told myself that since it was my first time, that I would go light and use only 10lb plates for a total of 24lbs, well...3 weeks later and I'm still using the 10lb plates. It's just now starting to feel a little less challenging, so I will be readly to up the weight after about 3 maybe 4 more workouts.
I also love what Body Pump has done for my body, I usually lift heavy (15-25 lb dumbells), but going a little lighter and using different tempo changes has given me a nice surprise. I always associated light weight/high rep overload with using 3-5lb dumbells, and doing so many reps that I fall asleep during the workout.
Body Pump has opened my eyes...and with your great mind for choreography and execution...a Boby Pump workout from you would be fantasic..just a thought.
