Hi Everyone! Here is a detailed description of the Body Fusion workout. It is approximately a 50 minute workout which is formatted as follows:

Warm up

Step combo #1
Weight segment #1

Step Combo #2
Weight Segment #2

Step Combo #3
Weight Segment #3

Stretch

After the warm up you will go into your first step aerobic segment which features moves from videos past taught with a longer breakdown and more repetition than the other two upcoming step combos since you are just freshly out of the warm up. This segment is about 10 minutes long.

Now your first weight segment will do squats with overhead presses and lunges with side and front lateral raises for approximately 5 minutes (light breaks in between).

Step combo two is a little more complex than one but still on the level of intermediate. It again is about 10 minutes long and features moves from other videos.

Weight segment two features lunges off the back of the step and then later bicep curls standing on the floor. The biceps curls end with a little balance option of doing them while standing on one leg.

Step Combo #3, totaling about 8 minutes, is the same level of complexity as two but has more intensity added.

Weight segment three includes deadrows and deadlifts and then moves onto dips and push ups before completing with a stretch:)

Thanks Cathe:) I am so glad that I order all 3 DVD and also won a mug:) I know I can't go wrong with any of your videos that you put out.

Thank you!
I really wish I would have ordered now the only thing holding me back is our DVD is a garbage so I have only been using VHS for now. Will these come out in VHS or only in DVD ?

Do you know approx. when they will ship out ?

Thank you again, so excited! :)

Laura!

Hi Laura! Cathe and Chris recently posted that the new workouts and all future Cathes will only be offered on DVD, because only a tiny portion of their customer market now wants VHS and so it is not cost-effective for them to continue to produce the VHS format as well as the DVD format.

I have a real rotgut Phillips single-disc DVD player in my exercise room that I paid maybe $100 for two years ago, and for what it's worth all of my Cathes play well on it with no real problems. I get a tiny momentary frame-freezing at a few points on some of the Blast DVD's that are deeply chaptered, but the Workout Blender works, the premixes work, the audio options work, etc. I vote that you look forward to the future and invest in DVDs -- I'll bet your "garbage" DVD player will work just fine! :)

Hope this helps!

P.S. I came back to tell you, I just peeked at your before and after pictures and WOW, do you look amazing!!! I am so glad for you -- you must feel like a million bucks and you sure do look like it!!!!

Cathe, I wanted to ask if you were going to include the "music louder" option on the 3 DVDs. I love this feature.
I'm an advanced exerciser but ordered all 3 DVDs. I wanted the beginner/intermediate ones for those "I don't want to workout but I know I'll feel guilty if I don't" days.
Thanks so much for your great workouts. They are awesome. I love, love, love IMAX2 BTW.

RE: Body Fusion Details-((((laura))))

Hi,

I did lose weight with Weight Watchers. I lost 116 pounds.
I started working out slowly at a gym doing water aerobics, then to step aerobics, then home to the Firm only for a while, then I found Cathe - she is the BEST! :)

I think WW is a good way of life, you can enjoy all different foods which aren't forbidden you just have to work them into your point range for the day. I still go out to eat & enjoy and know I am still ok. The only thing is now with me is I am trying to incorporate more protein foods into my diet. I am at my goal weight & happy but proteins are generally higher in fat so it makes it higher in pts. so I am now just experimenting to see what works best for me.

Thank You! :)
