Body For Lifers -What Cathe's do you use?

Hey everyone, I did a search and ended up posting in the Ask Cathe forum by mistake.

I want to know how those of you that are doing Body For Life incorporate Cathe's video's into your routine? I want to try BFL, but I can't motivate myself to run or bike. I need the structured workout that video's/DVD's provide. I guess I'm wondering if you do use Cathe's workouts, do you only do part of it, and if so - what?
The thread I read had noted to do Pyramid Upper and Lower on different days, with Cardio in between. (Cardio only from CTX was an example.)

If anyone has done this or something similar and can give me an opinion, please do so! I am ready to dive in, I just want to make sure I'm not going down the wrong road!!

Yeah, I did BFL twice.I never did finish either one of the challengesx(
The first time I did it, was before the intensity series.I couldn't work out on my own so I just used any cathe tape.It wouldn't be the pyramid cycle but I would work upper or lower, whatever I was suppose to do that day.I did do the running though.
The second time I did it,I used the pyramid system.And a interval workout would be good for the cardio.Probably just 5 intervals.I use to use the terminator dvd.I use to skip the weight parts and just do an interval and go right into a Boot camp cardio.
I got results the first time I did it, but the cheat day was bad for me.When you have your cheat day, try to have something that your craving.Don't eat everything all day long.Thats where I went wrong.
The second time I didn't see any differnce, probably b/c I could have done better with my eating.
I would love to give it another try but I can't find my motavation.

Hi,
I did BFL last winter and lost about 10 pounds. I started doing it on my own and about half way through I needed Cathe, so I did PLB and PUB along with the running on the treadmill. I would like to do the program again and intermix with the new videos but not sure how that will work until I see them. My problem now is getting the eating part down and only cheat on one day instead of every day : )

It also helped that we had a message board on the open forum for the BFLer's and it was quite active, go slower as the time went on but it was a nice place to go to and get help with motivation.

I have also been doing BFL on and off for a while. I was very successful about 2 years ago and lost 30 pounds. Lately I have been using PLB, PUB and some of the pre-mixes from the Intensity Series for the weight portion. I use IMAX 2 or Boot Camp cardio portion for cardio. Sometimes I use Tae Bo also. I also have a hard time to go out running by myself and prefer the tapes instead. I would love to do another "real" round of BFL. It would be great if anybody else is interested and we could help motivate each other.

There's another one out there?!?!?!?!?

As in another Sabine!?! I'm a Sabine also! Do you pronounce yours Sabine (Sah-been) or Sabine (Sah-bee-nah)? It's just sooooo wierd to see someone who has the same name as me. I'm sure you can attest to the fact that it NEVER happens!!

I'm so exited to see somebody else with my name. I do pronounce it Sah-bee-nah. I am originally from Germany and I don't think I have come across anybody with my name here. Where are you from?

This is sooooo cool!!! I was born in the Netherlands. My mom is Dutch and my dad is German. Mom got to name my older sister a name from her country and that meant that dad got to name me. I've never met anyone else who spelled Sabine the way I do and pronounced it the same way.

How long have you been in the States? Did you, too, spend your childhood wondering why you could never find the mini license plates or mugs with your name on them anywhere!!!

I've been in here for almost fourteen years. I grew up in Germany. I didn't have the problem with the name plates because Sabine is a pretty common name in Germany. Do you speak German? I get so little chances to speak it.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I am doing the Pyramid workouts with Imax2 (half each cardio day). I'm wondering about the fifth day, should I start over with PUB or do a different weight workout?
