Why are peanut butter and cheese not recommended for protein on this plan?

What's the difference between
- beans
- legumes
- lentils

Thanks educated crowd!

I've never considered peanut butter a source of protein even pre-bfl. It is about 80% fat and very little protein. It is, however, a good fat source as are nuts. In EFL, Bill changes his mind and allows low-fat cheese as a protein source. Not sure why.

Not sure what you mean about the 'difference' between beans, legumes and lentils. I do know they are only counted as carbs in BFL, if this helps.

Like Collen said about peanut butter, I think cheese is not considered a good source of protein because it has high fat content. I believe that when you get fat free cheese, there are added carbs.

Beans are, well beans (navy, black, garbanzo, etc.). Legumes are peas. I really don't know what lentils are, I think some variation of peas.
