Body Blast Timesaver DVD

Hey All,

Can anyone give me some feedback on the Body Blast Timesaver DVD. I have previewed most of the workouts in the Body Blast Series on FitTV and I like them...but I'm not sure if I like them enough to purchase all of them. I was thinking this condensed version of the series might be a good choice. I also like the 1 body part per day concept that goes along with the cardio (at least according to the description)...all in all, sounds like a good DVD to factor into a rotation...just wanted to know if you all think this DVD is worth the cost...or should I look to something else?

Thanks!

It depends on the level of intensity you want. I found the Body Blast Timesavers to be very easy...this DVD was ranked 5.9 out of 10 on the web site by other Catheites. If you want intensity while working one body part a day I would go with the XPRESS series...they really make you work and the body part worked each day is sore for a few days afterwards (when you first start). The workouts are a lot of fun on the XPRESS series and there's a good mixture of high and low impact aerobics and kickboxing.
If you want intensity with the Body Blast, I'd recommend Kick, Punch and Crunch as well as Step, Jump & Pump. They are both awesome workouts. I personally found Push Pull and Supersets to be too easy. I only do them after a one hour bike ride.

It also has a bit to depend on the money you want to spend!! Timesaver $49.99 isn't as pricey as the CTX series $89.99. Of course you should have them all...:)...I think Timesaver is good for shorter workouts. What I really liked was some of the bonus workouts that were not on any of the Body Blast DVD's...:)...Carole

I recently bought the timesaver dvd and I have really enjoyed it. My favorite w/o is the kickboxing one it really gets your heart going. It is from KPC which I think I need to get now that I really love that timesaver version. The weightlifting is weak though. Everything else I really enjoy!!

I love the Timesaver #5 - it's a great leg workout - most of L&G, all the ankleweight and floor work of L&G, the lower body work of SJP, some extra footage and abs. Perfect

I think it's a good DVD if you want a sample of the Bodyblast series but not the entire series. You don't get Superset/pushpull or the kicking and punching of KPC.

Carole is right, it is good when you want a short workout. It also has a workout blender so you can put together your own workout.

I use Timesaver or CTX when I'm short on time OR if I'm coming back from being sick. When I had 3 weeks of sinus infections in Feb/March, CTX and Timesaver were the only things possible for me.

Hi Ladies,

Thanks for your input :) I think I'm going to go ahead and order Timesaver...evaluated my collection and I could use a DVD with premixed shorter workouts for days that I'm pressed for time. I also like to rotate weeks with longer hour to hour and 1/2 workouts vs. 30 - 45 min. workouts. Thanks again.
