Body Blast Rotations w/good results?

Hi there! I just ordered the BB set of DVDs (including the timesaver) and wondering if any of you have any rotations you can share using this series where you have experienced good results? I also have the intensity series so incorporating any of those would be fine too.

As many of you know I just had a baby 3 wks ago and am getting ready to start working out again and start another BFL challenge. I could sure use some ideas of rotations with the new set as I am clueless as to what each video is designed to do!

Obviously my #1 goal is to lose fat for the short term but seriously need to gain my muscle back as well.

I had great results with S&H and the intensity series before. Wondering if I should also incorporate S&H a day or two a week?

Sorry.... I am one confused fitnut!

Congratulations on your baby! In January, I did a rotation in which I did the Timesaver workouts Sunday through Thursday, and Bootcamp on Saturdays. I know that ignores all the other workouts in the BB series, but I did think that I got good results. Also, I don't know how your baby is with sleeping, but when my kids were newborns, I doubt I could have spent more than 40-50 minutes a day working out.

Now I'm thinking about doing a rotation with 4 days of cardio from BB and CTX, and then Push Pull and Supersets on the other two days.

You'll enjoy the BB series whatever you decide to do!

Hi there. Though I have not tried out the BB series yet, I have devised this rotation which I'm starting today for a few weeks:

Day 1: KPC/L&G + Abs Premix
Day 2: Timesaver 1
Day 3: Timesaver 2
Day 4: Timesaver 3 + Floorwork from L&G
Day 5: Rest
Day 6: Timesaver 4
Day 7: Timesaver 5
Day 8: Rest
Day 9: KPC +Abs Premix
Day 10: PH or ME
Day 11: C&W Step Only Premix + Ankle Weight Legs from L&G
Day 12: Rest
Day 13: Timesaver 1
Day 14: Timesaver 2
Day 15: Timesaver 3 + Floorwork from L&G
Day 16: Timesaver 4
Day 17: Rest
Day 18: Timesaver 5
Day 19: Rest
Day 20: Rest

At this point I will re-evaluate the rotation and decide if I will do it one more time, or devise something a little different.

Hi Leslie. There's actually a premix on that dvd.....I can't think of the name of it now, but it includes a kickboxing section (great for those lower abs and legs!!), an ankle weight section with standing and lower body work, and then I was going to tack on some abs to that premix. But yes, I was going to do this the first day. I really am anxious to try out my new timesaver dvd, yet I want to really hit my lower body at the same time, so I figured this would be a good rotation to start off with. I realize one week is longer than an actual week, but hey, that's o.k. Right?!?! lol Do you want to do it with me?!?! It would be fun to compare notes!!

Body Blast Rotations w/great results!

Fitnut,

I posted last week with my rotation, and I just wanted to follow up with what I did for workouts yesterday and today, because I think it's a testament to the TS/BC rotation I was doing. Yesterday I did IMAX2 for the first time. Granted, I used a 4 inch step, which I pretty much use all the time, but I made it all the way through, with no additional rest thrown in. I was proud of myself. Today, I did ME for the first time in about 5 months. I did it with the same weights as Cathe (except deadlifts; I have to go lighter because of my back). I have never been able to do the biceps with 20 lbs all the way through with no break, but I did it today! Anyway, I know my rotation probably doesn't sound terribly exciting, but it seems to have worked! I also noticed my thighs got a little smaller with this rotation.

Once again, good luck!

Hi Fitnut,

I posted a rotation using the Body Blasts and Intensity Series
yesterday on this forum that's really done wonders for my
lower body. I also have had noticable fat loss.

I think the title of the thread is something like "Rotation that
made my lower body smaller" or something similar.

Melanie :)
