Body Beast Rotation

Hi Everyone
I'm planning on a Body Beast rotation but to avoid bulking (had a bit of that doing the straight BB rotation), I thought I'd follow his rotation for lean but space the workouts so it would be a BB/Ruthless or Piyo day, then a cardio day or low intensity day (just need my Cathe fix) and alternate that way. Any feedback would be great!
 
hi Liz, what are you trying to achieve from BB? I guess the programme is primarily intended for young guys trying to bulk (not for me, a middle-aged woman trying to stave off old age!!!!). When I do the programme again, I'll do a shorter build phase, then the bulk phase, with just 2 extra hiit a week, and then maybe a longer lean phase. I feel that any more cardio would scupper my hypertrophy gains. For leaning out, I think I'd just do a different rotation. One with a greater emphasis on metabolic workouts.

I did the Body Beast Rotation both ways. I never really bulked but, I believe it was because I added short cardios and yoga to it. I had nice results with both rotations.

Thanks for sharing this. Did you do the cardio/yoga on the same days or alternate?
