Bobbi - How's the "Skinny Fat" Rotation Going?

Are you doing it? Are you seeing results? I was going to start it after I received the BB's, but I decided to go through them one by one (a la Cathe's December rotation) for a week or two, and then do the Timesavers before and possibly immediately after the holidays, depending on how hectic things get around here.

I'm definitely going to start after that, though. I just hope I don't get any skinnier in places I don't want to!

Susan, I sat and planned a two week intro to the BB myself. It's going well! I have been doing serious strength training and am getting cuts in my shoulders! My caloric intake has increased moderately, mostly because of the holidays but it's ok because the emphasis is muscle building. I may tweak the numbers as I explore the premixes once I have checked out all the workouts but I am pleased with my progress! The big question is what happens when I get to the fat blasting stage! Will the ab flab scram? Looking at Cathe, Rhonda and Jai in the workouts gave me some major ab envy! Body Blast is a Masterpiece! I'll be doing a little more cardio than strictly fits into the plan but I have got to try those babies in their entirety!

What have you been using for your "serious strength training"? I know what you mean about the ab envy! I'd love to look like that without having to hold it in! I must say, though, my abs seem to be getting stronger and stronger (which, compared to most serious exercisers, is not very strong). Oh well, at least they're improving.

Mainly PUB which I love! I did a CTX rotation last week. I needed a break I think. Cathe's workouts are so incredible, I can do practically any of them but I am holding off on the higher rep stuff, the endurance workouts, until I have gotten in a good 6 weeks of heavier training. I look forward to doing some Slow/Heavy training to, another favorite of mine. First I have to try out all the BB's!

Have fun, Bobbi! I'll let you know when I begin. I'm pretty sure my husband is going to buy me Cathe's 27-DVD-pack for Christmas, which means I'll finally own all of her stuff! I'll probably start with Slow & Heavy. Sounds like it might just be what my ecto body needs!

Hey Bobbi - your plan has worked very quickly for me. I upped my weights and am following the rotation - already lost 1/2" off my hips and rear (in 2 weeks)and 1 pound. I am going to follow this through both phases and hopefully will be much leaner in the legs and caboose by the end.

I have totally switched over to Cathe in the past few weeks and have gotten rid of all my Firms, Kathy Smith, and Karen Voights. You guys have convinced me, she is the best.

Wow, Shopgirl! That's great! If this rotation gets rid of my pooch, I'll go find Bobbi and be her slave for the day or something! (On second thought, how many kids did you say you have, Bobbi?)
