I used to. I've started and stopped 3 blogs over the last 1.5 years ~ I just can't keep up with one. Not one with meaningful content anyway. I admire those who can put together a well-planned, nicely written blog.
I have two homeschooling friends who keep great blogs as well, complete with cool photos, funny stories, and excellent recipes. I don't know when they find the time to do it! I suspect they don't sleep:
I have some blog entries, but I don't think they are what typical blogs are (which seem to me like a personal journal or diary, but made public, which I really don't get).]
Kathryn, I think you need to explore a few more blogs! Some are indeed like diaries (mine goes that way sometimes, but not always) but some are much much more.
I recommend MizFit online (at http://mizfitonline.com/) It's fitness/nutrition related but also she delves into other deeper things. She also always gets a great dialogue going in her comments. Also, she let me do a guest post on her blog, and it was great to have so many comments and feedback to my own post there as well.
Lainiefig - I have to say I've enjoyed your blog as well! They push us at work to post on blogs on their network because they are so afraid of losing the knowledge transfer between those of us in the baby boomer generation when we retire and the new hires. Honestly, I have one, but never know what to say. Ha!, it's been hard enough for me to come out of lurking mode on these forums.
Maybe someone should start an 'Art of Blogging' class, virtual of course
RB, I don't have a blog, but I just read some of yours and wanted to say congratulations on losing over 50 lbs! I didn't even know that - what an accomplishment. It's killing me to lose 15 - so good job.
