BLOG UPDATE!! :)

First, let me say that this is absolutely amazing!

Okay, here's a question. I guess we download it to our computers then can download it to our iPods. How do we get our iPods to play on the tv??? I don't know that mine can do that (I have a Sansa). Also, what if we want them on DVD? Do we have to get a DVD burner for our computers??? Agghhhh! I am not that technological! I like the idea of having DVDs to play.

Lorie,
I wondered the same thing. Not certain, but I think this might be referring to the iPod Video (or other device that is video-capable). (My Nano is not.) So I would imagine there will be audio-only options. Guess we will have to be patient :p and wait for more information.

A billion options? And here I thought I was doing well having almost all of Cathe's DVDs. This is gonna be insane. We'll have to have a new forum specifically for people to post their custom workouts! And A-Jock is gonna have a nervous breakdown thinking about all the mish-mosh possibilities:p

Ha! A-Jock is the first person that popped in my mind when I saw the Blog. She is going to die of excitement when she sees this!

*faints in excitement*

Oh my!!! I'm going to totally go nuts with this. I soooo hope it's a subscription and not a "pay per use", though, or I'll go broke!

I am in the same boat. Love the idea of making better use of the premixes, but I feel more comfortable at the moment downloading them on a DVD. IPOD's are still too expensive to spend on myself, when I have a growing teenager dominated family with "BILLS"x(. I'm working but I'm also going to school, which basically cancels out any extra money I make to begin with...ok, done whining, sorry...

On the brighter side, X-mas IS right around the corner;)

It's a cool option, but I don't think I would use it. I already spend enough time obsessing about what workout I will do. Sometimes too many options for me is a bad thing. I hope you all have fun with it :).

Ditto.
Great for those into techie things, who already have an Ipod, but I just hope Cathe keeps making DVD's!

I agree about too many options. I could drive myself crazy trying to come up with new mixes, and I don't actually think I would have fun with it. No, I'm more of a "tell me exactly which video to do on which day" sort of girl, that way the guess-work has been taken out and I know I'm doing the right exercises at the right time. :)

Why would you want to pay for something again (the video clips) when you've already paid for it once (on the workout DVDs)?

Just to put it in your own special order? My initial reaction is that it doesn't sound like an effective way to spend my money.

I thought I understood Cathe's intention was workouts and such that you could down load on an iPod or similar device and take with you, e.g., workouts for when you travel, or something a la Cardio Coach.

I think I misunderstood.

And what happens if you buy a workout, then want to use a same clip in a different workout - do you have to pay for the clip again (so now you've paid for it three times)?

I'm sure details will be forthcoming.

I see your point, but I think we have to bear in mind that there's a new generation of Cathe fans who are up on all the latest technology and will love this format. I applaud Cathe for her entrepreneurial spirit. She's clearly ahead of her time.

I am sure I will have wait and see! And I have been known to change my mind. I'm not exactly a stick-in-the-mud old fogie, ya know - haha! :p

I think you can download the dvd's you already have. You don't have to buy the ones you already have. And the way I read it in a previous post, is that it is an actual software cd you can buy and download whatever dvd's you have at home, and/or add extra clips, just like your music library.

Maybe I read it wrong...
