Blank Video?

I recently sold an exercise video through an established website and the recipient e-mailed me saying the video was in fine condition, but it was blank. I didn't test it out immediately before sending but I had used it several times in the past with no problems. Anyone have any ideas as to why this would happen? Has this happened to anyone? I can't figure it out. I sent her some ideas for troubleshooting, and told her to return it for a complete refund if she couldn't get it to work. ???

Maybe it went through some sort of magnetic thing during shiping that erased it? When I returned from my honeymoon we were told to carry our wedding video, not to put it through the security screener because that would erase it.

Just a thought.
