Black top part of my step is falling off

What type of glue should I use to glue it back on?

Should I completly remove it, or just put glue on the sides that are coming up?

That thread suggested liquid nails, I think that is a good idea. I used epoxy (which you would think would work) and it kept peeling up. I eventually replaced the whole thing. But if I had thought to try liquid nails, I would have.

I'm so glad you posted that. Mine is starting to pull up on the corners.

Well, I'm no help here. I completely replaced mine. Actually, I felt quite accomplished that I had used my step so much that the "tread" had completely worn out!

I had this happen and tried all kinds of glues and epoxy's. I also tired a spray adhesive. Finally I just taped it down around the edges with duct tape. I redid it every once in awhile. I am on my third bench now. I haven't had it long so it is still fine. I just figure I use the things to death
