Bikini Countdown - weekend edition

Wow. It's after noon PST and still no one has posted. This is a little scary to me being the first one to post!

Well, I hope everyone's weekend is going well and that the spring is shooing away the cold, cough and flu stuff! It's not exactly warm here, but the sun peeks thru now and again. The boys' baseball season has started up and our weeks have doubled in busyness, but it's all good. The boys absolutely love our little hometown baseball league and it's a joy to watch them have such a good time, even if it means 3 different practice and game schedules!

Yesterday was almost a bust, too, but I didn't want to report back to you all that I was too lazy to workout! Accountability is good...so I did L&G and then the BC cardio only + kickbox only premixes + BC abs. Today will be the PP upper body premix with something fun like StepBlast...I just don't think I can do another HIIT this week!

Hey CinDee, et al,

Well, now it's almost 4:30 ET, and I still haven't worked out. I feel wierd today. My stomach's acting up, and I don't have much energy. I'm contemplating some yoga, but I don't know. If I don't do it soon, it won't happen today.

Thursday evening, I did TLP's Core Foundations. That was the second time I've done it. The first time was first thing one morning the week before. This workout requires a lot of balance, which I think I have more of later in the day. I thought I got more out of it Thursday than the first time, but that could just have been because it wasn't the first time. I really felt it in my core and rear end yesterday. Yesterday morning, I just did 1/2 hour of Pilates. This was a really stressul week for me and I didn't get enough sleep, which may be why I don't feel so great today.

The weather is great though. It's sunny and 80 degrees.

Quick check-in... yesterday was ME except for chest/back which I did Thurs. Today was HIIT w/running hills- glad its over. Tomorrow is a day off:)

CinDee, I hear you- all the sudden this weekend has 2 games/practices/playdates galore after weeks of nothing. Still one more game tomorrow, too! At least the weather is incredible.

Lisa, try to catch up on your sleep and take it easy if your body is telling you to. Have a nice stretch and enjoy the sunshine!

Quick check-in. I contemplated going for a ride today after church, but it's kinda raining and that's enough of an excuse to rest today! Perhaps some yoga this evening...we'll see. We also have church responsibilities tonight, so I'm not sure.

Brenda, are you planning on heavy or endurance lifting this week? And how often are you HIITing? Only 3 1/2 weeks to go, so I'll be reining in everything a bit more!
