Bikini countdown- weekend edition 4/24

Hi everyone,

Since this week is still a 'do my own thing' week, I decided to do Rhythmic Step this morning. I had so much fun :D ! I just love this routine. Afterward, decided to work on some flexibility and stress release and popped in Sunrise Yoga. It was a nice 20 minute add on to help lengthen out some of my muscles. So I feel ready to start my day.

Not much going on this weekend. I'm working on a paper, need to get groceries and cat food, need to do laundry, etc. The weather is nice (although not as warm as where you are Shywolf) so I may grab set up my small patio set and work on my laptop outside.

Its a beautiful day here so I wanted to check in for a quick moment to see what's going on. Sabine, glad you had a good time w/Rhythmic Step! Good luck w/your paper- yuck.

Looks like I'm going to do legs/shoulders S&H today to give my joints a rest from HIIT and my chest is fried from S&H yesterday. Tomorrow may be a day off, I'll see how I feel.

It is beautiful here in the Pacific Northwest! Sunday is supposed to be even better (low- to mid- seventies:) ). My neighbor and I walked this morning, and I might do something like yoga in a bit...but I might not! Tomorrow DH and I are probably going to go on a bike ride after church, however that is what we said last week and didn't! So we'll see. Sunday is the one day that I usually rest since it is such an early morning and a long day for me.


Sabine, hope your paper-writing went smoothly.

Brenda...how many more days for you? And what do you plan for next week? I'm staying heavy but switching to PS series.

Good Sunday morning~

I got my HIIT out of the way first thing this a.m. which was really good (I ran my hills) and now I don't have to think about it. I'm trying to do it early on an empty stomach to see if that really helps burn more fat. Anyone experience a difference?

This is what the following week holds:
Mon - Leaner Legs
Tues - HIIT (using IMAX1)+ ab work
Wed - S&H Biceps/Triceps or PUB
Thurs - HIIT (using IMAX2 or Bootcamp)+ abs
Fri - S&H Legs/Shoulders
Sat - HIIT (hills)
Sun - off

I haven't done MIS for a while so I may check that out and a few others workouts I've been neglecting.

CinDee, I don't have PS otherwise I'd throw it in there. How would you compare them? I leave on May 20 so a little over 3 weeks - how about you? Did you get a new bathing suit? I'm waiting one more week before I start trying them on.

Judy, I may try to play some tennis in the next week or two so wish me luck! I already got my tennis whites (skirt/top) - so cute!! Now I just need to learn how to play.

Looks like things will be slow around here so I'm signing off and will start cleaning up around herex( .

Hi everyone and hope that you are enjoying your Sunday!

I woke up pretty early because re-writes for my paper were going through my head. To temporarily divert my attention I decided to do Supersets. I wanted a bit more ab work so did the Leaner Legs ab routine as well. I feel really good right now. I may try to do a brief yoga program tonight before bed so I can get a sound night's sleep. The paper gets turned in tomorrow so I won't ruminate about re-writes for too much longer.

Thanks for the positive vibes about my paper, Cindee. Sounds like you're having a fabulous weekeend.

Brenda- All I can say is WOW! when I see your schedule for next week. How long is a HIIT rotation supposed to last? For me (most especially my bad knees), I couldn't imagine doing this for more than 4 weeks tops. Are you planning on keeping with this until Vegas? You go on girl!
