Hello everyone,

Looks like I'm the first to post today. This morning I did Supersets Upper body blast premix. My knees were popping last night so I was afraid to do legs or cardio. They've never popped before. I guess if there is no pain they should be ok.
The weather is going to be warming up so I plan to start adding running into my schedule a few times a week.
I'm real busy at work right now, but wanted to check in.

Good Morning Susan and everyone!

Having a slow morning at work. The kids are taking standardized tests all morning so I am in the computer lab just surfing around and such until they're done (about another hour or so).

This morning did Slow and Heavy Chest and Back and felt VERY strong! The workout felt awesome. I even felt really strong during the planks and only had to release out of the straight arm prone plank a bit early. One thing I notice is that I feel some discomfort in my shoulders when doing planks. Anyone else have this? Anyone have any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong? Or is it just 'one of those things'?

Lisa- Thanks for taking the time to answer the questions about Tracy's new workouts. You mentioned paper plates. What are those used for? When you do the moves using those do you feel safe?

BTW, April is almost up. Do we want to think about renaming the check in for the month of May? Also, what are you planning to do in terms of rotations? I may do my tank top arms/beach butt rotation again or I may see what Cathe has designed.

Hello's to everyone!

Tomorrow is Friday!!!:) ;-) ;-) ;-) We are suppossed to have storms here tomorrow. I HATE storms. They scare the crap out of me. Anyway, I'm going light this week and only working out 3 day instead of 5. Mainly because I'm really tired lately and also because my favorite 2 instructors are gone to their convention in Florida so there are subs for their classes. So I'm off for tonight and Friday. I want to go to the mall and look for a second pair of workout shoes but I just spent $60 on my New Balance and I feel guilty for spending the money when I really don't need the shoes. I'm always griping that we never have enough money to do anything or go on vacations but then I go and spend money on books, workout clothes, etc... I'm doing pretty good on my eating today - really trying to control my urges to get into the vanilla waffers in my desk drawer. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day.

PS: Joy - re-Angels and Demons. I can't stand it - I'm getting so close to the end that I wondering if they will find the canister. What suspense. Great book!! I can't wait to read The DaVinci Code.
 
Hello everyone and good afternoon/evening. We have a lovely little cold virus infecting our whole family, so yesterday was a bust. By the time I got home from baseball practice I was sneezing and my nose felt like it was going to explode. This a.m. I managed to do the standing leg work from PS legs and the cardio/legs premix from Boot Camp. We'll see about tomorrow since right now it's evening and I don't feel so great...a good night's sleep may change all that, and hopefully it's one of those short-lived colds! Okay, more baseball practice! Later!

I read Angels and Demons in no time at all. (Just this past weekend in fact) It it really a surprise ending. I too cannot wait to start the Davinci Code. Let me know what you thought of the ending.
