Good morning everyone-
this is the third time I'm posting and my server keeps giving out as soon as I send it... if it happens again I'm throwing my computer out the window.

Yesterday was S&H Legs/Shoulders and step from MIC. Today looks like PowerHour heavy and StepBlast, then a rest day tomorrow.

CinDee, I agree, I may switch the rotation around to add more heavy weighted workouts and 30-40 minutes of cardio. I'm also going to check out Cathe's April rotation again and see if I should mix some of that in, too. I'll post what next week is as soon as I figure it out. Congrats on getting a bathing suit! I'm going to give the rotation a few more weeks before starting the searchx(

Lisa, you're going to like BodyMax. Its tough but has a nice mix of weights and cardio mixed together- I throw it in every now and then for variation.

Sabine, hope you're feeling better and resting your voice!

Lori, I'd love to hear more about PowerStrike, too. How does it compare to Cathe's workouts?

Hellos to Joy, Shywolf, Tracy, Elizabeth and Judy- hope I didn't leave anyone out...

Brenda

Hi Brenda & Everyone

Time for a new rotation and no decision on what to do next. I toyed with the idea of using Cathes recomendation from a poster who wanted to break through a plateau. Cathe recommended 2 Circuit workouts per week and one interval workout for 3 weeks, then follow it up with 2 interval workouts per week and I think 2 circuits per week for 3 weeks? I forget now. Anyway, I abandoned that idea except for the intervals...not in the mood for multiple circuits just now.

anyhoot, This past week workouts:
Sun- off
Mon- run walk interval outside for 60" followed by good stretch (& tennis)
Tue- PUB (& tennis)
Wed- Step Blast
Thurs- run walk intervals on treadmill, good stretch, and abs
Fri- Supersets upper body blast 59" version (& tennis)
Sat- (today) long stretch session and abs
Any interest doing a rotation challenge? My interest now would be endurance for lower body and endurance and/or strength for upper body and improved areobic conditioning. However I can be flexable
:) :)

Good Morning all,

I am on day 2 of voice rest and am already going crazy. I'm trying to stay off the phone and when I interact with people I try to get by with hand signals or VERY brief words. It's so annoying. I tested my voice this morning and it is coming back but fades very rapidly if I try to talk too much. So more voice rest it is.

This morning I wanted to do a long, comprehensive workout and decided CIA 9802 with Faith Scarini was just the ticket. It started with an 8 minute warm up, 35 minutes of hi/lo, 35 minutes of step, then 30 minutes of light weights, abs, and a stretch. The weight segment was not tough at all yet is nice to include to feel like I hit everything. I might try to do a stretching workout later in the day or tomorrow morning.

Judy- I'm not quite sure what type of rotation I'll start next week. I'll probably do week 1 of Cathe's April rotation with modifications on the cardio (IMAX 2 twice and MIC! I don't think so!) and see from there. I may wind up doing 2 weeks of April, a CTX week, and a Body Blast week. Decisions, decisions.

Awesome job Brenda! With your recent workouts your computer wouldn't stand a chance if you got really ticked off:p !

Lisa- Sorry to hear that your son is still not feeling well. I imagine how frustrated you must feel that what he is dealing with is still not known for sure. Lots of good wishes to you, him, and the rest of your family.

Big holas to everyone else!

Hello Everyone!
Yup I'm posting and it's really late but wanted to checkin with my motivating buds here.

Today I did the all leg of Timesavers #5
What a great workout ..I had forgotten how nice it is.
Anyways, I'm starting Cathe's April Rotation on Monday, anyone else doing that rotation also? I have not even used my S&H dvd so this will give me a good excuse to use it. I think I'm a bit skeered of this one a bit LOL:p don't know why but I'll be using S&H finally .
Well I changed our clocks for Daylight savings time almost forgot . Ack I lose one hour of sleep :(
Ya'll have a great Sunday :), this momma's gonna to bed.

Posting late, too. Thanks for reminding me about Daylight Savings, Shywolf...I just went and changed all my clocks. I was going to do SB today, but my neighbor called and we went for a 4 mile walk. The weather was GORGEOUS today. 75 degrees! It had to have been 60 or 65 when we walked this morning. Then I cleaned the house a bit and then I ran errands...a lot of walking today, so I think that's it.

Not gonna do the April rotation. I think next week I'll do pyramids and CTX weight work. I'm just not feeling the endurance workouts. However the cardio of April week 1 sounds good and tough. IMAX twice and MIC, right? Maybe next week will be brutal...

Brenda--some of the pieces are on sale at the J Crew site. Good luck in your search!

Lisa--I looked to find out more about your situation with your son in previous posts but couldn't find anything. Regardless, I'll be praying for your son's healing.

Sabine--glad you're feeling better and that your voice is beginning to come back. Praying for your healing, too!

Hi to everyone! Night everyone!

CinDee

Good morning everyone~

wow, daylight savings time has kicked my butt! I fell asleep on the couch watching the UConn game and got to bed at 3am- I also lost track of the number of kitkats I devoured before I fell asleep. Its quiet here so I'm going to do a quick workout to burn some of that sugar off and then shower... I'm so tired!

I'm going to do Leaner Legs today and I think this is what this week holds (a combination of April and June 2003 rotation):

Mon - Imax 2, S&H chest/back
Tues - ME
Wed - MIC floor, S&H biceps/triceps
Thurs - SuperSets
Fri - MIC step, S&H legs/shoulders
Sat - Step Blast or Imax 1
Sun - off

Anyone want to join me??

Sabine, hope you continue to feel better!

Judy, thanks for your post regarding tennis- how long have you been playing? How long do you play per day?

I'll check in later if its quiet here -
Brenda

Brenda your week looks good. I'll think about joining you but modifying. I'm thinking....
Mon- Imax2 & Tennis
Tues- ME & Tennis
wed- MIC floor and short cardio add on maybe BC cardio
Thurs-Supersets upper body blast
Friday- MIC step & ankle weight work of L&G & Tennis

To answer your tennis question- 10 years I'm not expert but have improved over the years and really enjoy it.

Good Afternoon everyone,

I an now a bachelorette for the week. Michael and Nicholas went with their dad until next Saturday to see his parents in San Antonio. Since I had to take off more than a week just when Michael was in the hospital, I decided to stay here. I haven't been alone in my house for any period of time (more than a few hours) in over 10 years! I've been looking forward to it, but I thought I was going to cry when I took them to the airport. I'm going to miss my little buddies! I'm also mad now though, because I'm catching a cold! What lousy timing. I'm mainly just tired and a little achy and congested, but I had big plans to clean my house (the sad thing is, I'm not kidding), and to exercise as much as I wanted, whenever I wanted! And now, I'm not feeling that much like doing either. No fair! Oh well, I stopped by the Krispy Kreme on the way home from the airport, and got a donut (well, actually two, because they gave me a free one), and milk. That helped some. I don't think I'm doing Body Max today though!

Yesterday was Pilates on the Ball, and some Lotte Berk for abs. I have no clue what I'll do today. Maybe just some yoga and more Pilates. I should at least do Push Pull, but I may wait until I feel better.

CinDee, I really appreciate your words and prayers for Michael. I've posted about him off and on, as he's seemed better and worse again. I'm hoping that being off for a week will help. Having to travel might not be the best thing, but once he's there he'll get to spend time with his only cousin, a boy 1 1/2 years older than he is, and his grandmother will spoil him, so I'm hoping and praying that maybe the rest and change of scenary will send him back feeling well finally.

I hope everyone's having a great weekend! I'll check back in later if I get a workout in!

I hate the time change! I already feel like I'm behind on my day and getting things done.

Today took it very easy (as it is my official rest day) and did AM Yoga with Rodney Yee. It's nice to get the day started with some good stretching.

Lisa- Enjoy having the house to yourself! And if you need to rest a few days to avoid getting sick, then this is the perfect time! Don't need to stress about getting kids to school, packing lunches, getting dinner ready by a certain time, etc. And here's hoping that the trip will be a blessing to Michael as well. If all it accomplishes is to lift his spirits it will have been successful.

Still on the fence of what to do this coming month. Will probably start week 1 of the April rotation just because it has some structure that I enjoy.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday!
