Good Morning everyone,
And it is MORNING! It is 5:46 here.I have to work at 7:30.My day is so full that if I didn't workout now, then it wasn't going to get done.
I hate it when life is like this.I have no time for myself b/c I am being pulled in other directions.I managed to workout last night. (finally) I did intervals 3-7 in Imax2,a 30min run and CTX biceps and shoulders.
Today I have to work from 7:30-5,have a turkey dinner at 6:30,then the girls at work are going out for wings at 8.I don't think I will be eating any wings when I finish with a turkey dinner.DH goes to hockey at 10 so I may do Legs and Glutes then.
Anyway,I will check back later today b/c I am going to be in a office ALL day! VERY BORING!!!!!!!!!

I had a good workout in the a.m. The best I could do in 30 min.I did a interval run.The time went by pretty fast.You wouldn't think that it would though b/c you are watching every minute go by so that you can adjust the speed.I am wondering if I should eat lunch or not b/c I always get sleepy after I eat and it doesn't help that I have been up since 5:30.I am glad I got my workout in though b/c I would have felt guilty all day. I may catch a quick nap between 5-6:) That should give me some more energy.
The babysitting went well yesterday but I realized (again) how much work a baby is.Do I really want to do that again? SHe was good all day but she woke up from her nap to early and I she was a little cranky:-(
I decided not to get a second hand car b/c it was only $100 cheaper then what I was paying for newer car still covered under warantee.But then I got it in my head to look at the NEW cars.I fell in love with a 2 door silver car,(honda).We were leasing our other car and sort of wanted to get out of that.So we decided to buy this one.Everything works out to be the same price.The car was a little cheaper but my insurance went up.
Anyway,I will check back later,

Good morning everyone-

Today I'm switching w/Wed and am doing ME w/heavy weights- yesterday I did Imax2 followed by the floor section of PLB. I discovered a really cool website that has inspired me to continue w/the weights and possibly lower the cardio which would put me back on track w/the M&F rotation. The site is stumptuous.com and its written by a woman named Krista who is pretty down to earth w/a sense of humor. Check it out if y'all get a chance.

Lori, you must be relieved to have your workout finished and having the rest of the day to not worry about it- one thing to check off the list. Regarding babies, my mother-in-law always says "you will never regret having another child but you may regret not having one" (she had 11 so that had to be her mantra). Hence why we have 5 and still think about more... I'm never crazy about watching other people's kids but when they're your own I never mind the diapers, crying, spitting up, etc. I'm just a big fan of nice people having more kids because they have nice kids and you seem like a great mom.

Kim, was it you who was talking about the cookies? I've found sugar kills my energy and I can feel it throughout my body when I workout (the weakness especially). However, it is nearly impossible to not eat cookies when making them so as long as you enjoyed them its worth a cheating moment!

Edited to add: Sabine, remember when the Firm workouts were really tough? It seems like just yesterday. Think how far we've come-
nice job with the rotation! I can say I'm really please w/the upper body results.
 
Hello everyone!

Going to doing KPC today, in fact in about 15 minutes from now. I was going to make Fri my yoga day, but since I'm incorporating it in the evening a few times a week, I'm going to do C&W or a total body weight w/o- so many choices...:). L&G is on tap for tomorrow- it's been doing some great things for my lower half- more tone and definition.

Brenda- I'm going to check that website out- it sounds interesting. I'm still experimenting to see which combo (weights to cardio) works best for me and my goals.

Lori- Hondas are great cars. I've had two and they lasted forever with very few problems if any at all. Glad the babysitting went well.

Kim- agree with Brenda about the cookies. I usually eat a few when they first come out of the oven but after that I send them off with DH for our staff. To me, a cookie fresh out of the oven is one of life's great pleasures!:9 Don't sweat it too much- you work out and you don't eat them all the time!

Everyone have a great day and hope you had fabulous workouts or a rest day. Hope Pinky and Andrew had a good flight and are enjoying their time with family.

Good Morning all,

I feel really fortunate to have finished my rotation last week and my body must have been holding out on collapsing until I was done because now it's taking a nose dive. Felt groggy and cranky all day yesterday, slept terrible, and after Step Heat, started getting severe stomach cramps and then diarrhea! I have taken a shower and I still feel weak, achy, and cold! Called into work to take the day off and get some rest. Maybe this is food related and will pass very quickly. Sure hope I'm not coming down with one last cold/flu before the warm weather kicks in for good.

Needless to say, the workout was just okay. My mind and body were not into it and I was just going through the motions. Sure, I reached my THR and was sweating and all yet I was constantly watching the timer on the DVD thinking 'is it over yet?'. I'm never like that!

So, being in a foul mood and not feeling well I will keep this short. Hope everyone else is having a great day. Tomorrow will be better for me, at least I hope so!
 
Well I'm on my lunch break and eating a salad and sandwich from home. I'm doing good on my eating (so far). Kickboxing was great last night. I'm glad I went. The teacher in switching things around and incorporating more off the bag cardio and weights. Love It!! Tonight is my body bar class.

Thanks for the encouragement on the cookie situation. I'm just glad they are gone. I'm better today. Not as weak and hungry all the time. I brought in about a dozen here to my work yesterday and there were 4 people eating them (two on atkins, one on ww and the other doesn't care) and they were gone by noon. Why is it that no matter what you bring in to the workplace people eat it up like they've never had it before? It's funny.

How do you guys handle the weekends as far as food goes. I do pretty well all week but 5pm on friday is like I don't care what I eat. I do weight watchers and I for once would like to actually track what I eat on Sat and Sun. I've even tried laying my journal out on the counter but I still don't write in it. Any ideas?

Hello All;

Well Im back to feeling like me again . I had the energy to do both Timesavers #1 & #2, this morning. I really did need that week off last week and I feel great. Amazing what tom can do the me ..ugh !

Sabine sorry to hear that you're not feling well ; maybe it's your body's way of saying it needs a rest too?

I am wondering what if any rotation cathe will put up for April.
I believe I will finish this week nice and easy with the Timesavers and start next week for a n April rotation.
Does anyone know what type of rotation they'll be doing for April?

Ok gotta go as I just got my package of new fragrance oils and oh my I love what I smell :)
 
Hello Sabine!

I'm so sorry to hear you're under the weather today- I'm sending you a cyber-hug ((((Sabine))))). I felt similar to you last week- took an extra rest day and I felt alot better. Pamper yourself today- pop in a favorite movie, curl up with a good book with an afghan around you- you deserve it - you've worked hard. Take good care of yourself, OK?:)


Shywolf- are you in to aromatherapy? I've been putting few drops of lavendar essential oils on my pillow at night and it really helps me to relax and sleep better.

Kim- I know what works well for me and that is I allow myself a small treat each day (if I feel like one, if not I don't eat it) and so I don't feel deprived 'cause I know for myself that's when I'll binge and eat more than I should or need to. It can be a struggle, can't it? HTH!

I'm into anything that helps me relax and helps my house smell good.
I pour candles and just doing it gives me a very tranquil feeling plus when I add the oils it really makes me smile. If the oils are skin safe I usually put a dap on my pulse points or on my bed sheets. It really hopes set the mood to relax when things smell nicely and make me smile ...HTH
 
Kim- I've found if I start the weekend mornings off ok then I'm not quite so tempted to eat everything in the house. Unfortunately if I do start the day off badly its very hard for me to get back on track and then the whole day is usually a pass.

Sabine- sorry you don't feel well- sounds like exactly what's going on around here. Take a rest day and hope you feel better tomorrow!:-(
