Biceps in Supersets

Does anyone else think that the bicep work, especially “over” the stability ball, was really tough in this video? I will obviously have to lower the weight that I used today because I could barely lift the bar on the exercise “over” the stability ball. I’m just curious if I was just having a weak day. It was super tough to me!!

I also found this tough and had to lower my weight. The first time I did this workout, I actually had to stand up as I was having a weird popping thingee going in my elbows as I raised the bar up. I could not hear the popping, but I could feel it. I'm sure everyone knows what I'm talking it. It didn't hurt, but it grossed me out. x( I did the workout again, digging my elbows a little more into the ball and I didn't notice it quite as bad. :)
 
I, also, have found the bicep preacher curls over the ball to be very challenging. I seem to find myself more out of breath and I actually get sweaty and I only used 20# barbell and Cathe uses a 25# bar!

I , also, think the bicep concentration curls are very challenging in Supersets. I use the 12# weight like Cathe and my arm is shaking by the time I am done. She does 3 minutes on each bicep!

I hope I get good gains from these tapes!

Thanks Cheryl for specifying the particular exercises I was referring to. I was very vague. I “tried” to use 25 lbs. on the preacher curls and 12 lbs. on the concentration curls, but I will definitely be lowering that amount the next time. I REALLY like this workout though!

I had a tough time with positioning and never really did get a good set out. Maybe if I lighten the barbell I can do better. I was really questioning my form - not exactly sure what protion of the arm should be leaning on the ball...
