Hi girls,

I want to share this recipe! I am dinking it right now! It is clean and yummy!

Raspberry and Otmeal Smootheie:

1 1/2 tbsp. med. oatmeal
1 cup raspberry ( I used frozen) or strawberries
1-2 tsp. clear honey
3 tbsp natural (plain) yogurt

1. Spoon the oatmeal into a heatproof bowl. Pour the 1/2 c. boiling water and leave to stand for about 10 min.

2.Put the soaked oats in a blender or food processor and add all but 2 or 3 of the raspbeeries, the honey and 2 tbsp of the yogurt.

Process untill smoothe. scraping down the sides of the bowl if necessary.:9 :* :p

3.Poor the raspberry and oatmeal smoothie into a large glass, swirl in the remaining yogurt and top the reserved raspberries.

Hi Belinda: I feel the same way today. Exhausted and in need of more coffee to get going!

Your smoothie sounds interesting. Maybe this will give me that extra energy to get in my workout today. :)

It was a whirlwind of activity here yesterday and I never was able to get in that workout.:-(

Today is PUB for me.

Who watched Biggest Loser? I so wish Dan would get voted off!! Although his haircut does look much better. Not surprised that Brittany was voted off. I liked her but her whining was getting old.

Belinda - I live in Georgia also. I live north of Atlanta about 5 hours away from Savannah. Too bad it wasn't closer, I would love to meet up with you.

Heidi - Have fun with your workout. Looks like a good burner.

Hello Everyone

I hope you don't mind me interrupting you all but I love to read your thread. You all seem very knowledgeable. I've read BFL book and I've recently purchased the BFL journal. Also I've ordered the BFL recipe book. Is it very good? I've got all of Cathes DVDs and I'm a big fan. Also I've recently joined the gym (although to be honest I find it a bit intimidating). Can I ask what DVDs you find most useful for BFL?

Good morning, girlies! I have to tell you that before I posted here to you guys, I re-read yesterday's thread/posts simply for the MOTIVATION! Do that! Go back and just read all that we typed in yesterday. All the deep thoughts, the motivation. Melissa's revelation that nightly workouts work best is an awesome example of how we simply have to TRY something in order for us to figure out whether or hot it really works for us! I LOVE YOU LADIES!

NOW....my arms are a'shakin'! LOL I just got done with P90X Chest, Shoulders & Tris. WOW! I don't know what else to say but WOW! LOL I'm fried. Makes me SOOOOOOOO anxious for STS! I had an iTread planned, but I decided since there's no school all week, I'd sleep in (did so till about 6am) and add the run in later today. My kids are 'supposed' to go to a friend's house later, so I'll get the run in then.

Laura-when I use a DVD, it's almost always PUB/PLB. It follows the BFL pyramid system the closest! I also like using Leaner Legs (I'm a runner and sometimes as my runs get longer, I need to do the LL endurance workout instead of purely strength). Hang out here a while, and you'll LOVE THE MOTIVATION FROM THESE LADIES! You'll see that I just started using the P90X upper body weight workouts, simply for a change. I've been doing BFL workouts since October and just wanted to confuse the body! WELCOME ABOARD MOTIVATION STATION!

Today's plan is simple....LaundryMax! I've gto over 10 days' worth of clothes and when the KIDS tell me it's time to do laundry, well, it's time to do laundry! LOL

Free Day yesterday.....hmmmmmmmmm....never as good as we THINK it's going to be, is it? LOL I did eat whatever, didn't go completey bonkers either. I never got to make the Chili Rellenos, so I'm going to go upstairs right now and make it. Since it's an EFL recipe, it will be fine to eat during the week too.

Melissa-that bread recipe looks YUMMY! I am going to make that for my kids later as well. I've got TONS of ripe bananas up there! THANKS for sharing it! Feel free to share MORE! LOL I'm a recipe JUNKIE!

OK....it's cold in this basement and the kids are puttering around upstairs. It's going to RAIN RAIN RAIN all day long today, so it's PERFECT for laundry! :D

ETA! Oh yes.....Dan really NEEDS to go! I LOVE Ali...I hope she wins. She's got such an awesome positive attitude, and that SMILE of hers is KILLER, isn't it?? And what was up with the Big Guy (forget his name) yelling at Mark about 'being too worried about what others think'. He threw a tantrum and CONFUSED me! Where did THAT come from? LOL

I ran 8 miles (warm up mile/iTread 24 Run Intervals/cool down mile). I also got an Ab Hits segment in that had planks and the abs from Body Max???? (my mind is fried, it's the 12 minute mix, lol).

Hey Belinda-I've got DOMS in my legs (hamstrings, inner thighs and glutes) AND MY ABS from my workout yesterday! What some DOMS??? NOW GET YOUR BUTT MOVING, GIRL! lol

Laura – I’ve been mainly doing the BFL workouts from the book. It’s actually pretty easy to do once you get in the groove. I usually put in a Cathe DVD to keep me company, lol. I LOVE the journal, I may have to get another one for the next challenge next week.

Gayle – P90X is super!! It’s a really nice set up the way Tony supersets all the exercises. Now you have me itching to get to next week to join you, lol!

I was actually happy to see Maggie and Brittany go so they would stop the whining already, lol! Yeah, Danny boy is getting on my last nerve. I think the dynamic between Roger (the big guy) and Mark is changing. Roger always ran under the radar and let Mark take all the heat (because he’s such a competitior). I think Roger needs to step up to the plate! Oh, and Ali is STUNNING! I lover her new ‘do and the dress Tim picked for her was perfect for her cute little figure. Yikes, on Brittany’s dress….I definitely couldn’t have pulled that one off!

P.S. Does anyone else watch Dancing with the Stars? DH taped last night since it was on at the same time as Biggest Loser. I watched Monday’s start and was very impressed by the football player and the R&B singer. Wow, they looked GREAT the first dance! Makes me wish I didn’t have these two left feet, lol.

Amelia - I'm not sure how that bread freezes. I ended up putting mine in the refridgerator and I just take a slice out every morning. I don't plan on there being any left by the weekend, but if there is I'll stick it in the freezer and see what happens.

Heidi - looks like a full day of workouts for you. I'm tired just reading what you are doing today!

Belinda - that smoothie recipe sounds good. I'll have to give it a try.

Carolyn - Dan does look better, but I agree, he needs to go. He's so full of himself. So, how do you feel after yesterday's LB workout? Can you sit down today???}(

Gayle - funny you should say that about reading through yesterdays posts because I feel like that's all I did yesterday! And I got more and more pumped up every time I read it!!! WE ROCK!!!

Laura - I agree, PUB/PLB is probably the closest Cathe DVD as far as BFL is concerned.

Meals for today:

M#1: slice of banana applesauce bread toasted w/1T natural pb & 1 cup skim milk
M#2: 4 oz haddock & 1/2 c brown rice (my co-workers are gonna love me when I heat this up in the microwave...STINK IT UP ;-) )
M#3: veggie chili
M#4: salad w/can of white tuna & veggies
M#5: wrap w/3oz lean taco beef, 1T cheese & veggies
M#6: plain yogurt mixed with 1/2 scoop of Banana Cream BSN Lean Dessert protein powder.

BFL LB for me tonight! I went my heaviest last time on squats, 108 lbs for the 6 reps. Gonna try 113 tonight, but I'm a little scared!!!
