I finished my workout and ended up doing PLB. I again used 30, 40 and 50 pounds for the standing work. It may not seem like much to you BFL'ers who can squat and lunge much heavier, but let me just tell ya, it was a killer workout. My heart rate was up the whole time.

Melissa - I tried the wide leg dead lifts you hav mentioned. I definitely felt those. Hope I can sit down tomorrow!

OK, my DS's just came busting through the door.

BBL, Carolyn

Amelia - when I get home tonight, I will post that recipe. It is soooo good!

Belinda - HI! I haven't decided what workout I will do tonight. Maybe Step Blast. I like doing the finished combos followed by the Challenge!

ETA: Hi Carolyn! We must have been posting at the same time. I love doing deadlifts like that! Good luck tomorrow..hehehe..}(

Amelia** you live in George? How close do you live form Hinesville? I will fly in April to the US! I will be taking my dogs, which means I have to fly out of Gerorge( I can't fly out of El Paso, it will be to hot for the dogs to fly!) DH and I have very close friends living in Hinesville, we always visit them when we fly to and from the US!

Belinda and Amelia: You'll like this one I am sure!

Have to run...DS has work. BBL Heidi

And No for my run yet!!!! I will get to it when other DS comes home and DD heads out with her guests.

Well ladies, I dodged the bullet today. Someone brought a half a sheet cake (leftover Birthday cake) and even though it’s my favorite flavor (vanilla with cream frosting)…..I didn’t have ANY! It looked really good this morning too, but now that it’s been sitting out all day and picked over….ick, lol. Yay! :)

Plus I’m on day 8 of *wheat free* and didn’t want to spoil it!

Kathy

P.S. Great posts today, I enjoyed reading them! Melissa, I’m a morning exerciser myself and have always enjoyed my “me” time. Exercise has kept me sane for 24 years, lol! I try to workout at night but there are too many distractions going on. I think it’s great that everyone has found their niche during the day to make it work. I think that’s the most important part of becoming a consistent exerciser, finding the right time that fits into your schedule and family time. :)

OK, I'm really late coming to check in (to all my check-ins, actually).

I have had a really lazy day today. I did manage to go to Target with Ewan after we put Isaac on the bus. I got some food but I also cheated a bit on my no shopping for Lent, but it was to get stuff for an Easter egg hunt for my boys--can't exactly postpone that for after Easter....

Then after we came home I at least worked out (did another part of Amy Bento's ASCII alternating combos with my own high intensity intervals).

Then I've spent much of the day (except for some play time with the boys and some laundry and getting Ewan to nap) playing this silly game Packrat on Facebook. Argh. I can't believe myself. It's a good thing DH is out of town so I don't have to make much for dinner tonight for just the boys and me.

I hope to bbl for personals but it's about to be my busy time of the evening (feeding, bathing, and getting the boys to bed). I plan to return after that.
