Hi Belinda: You must be getting so excited about your trip coming up. You leave tomorrow? What fun workout do you have in mind for today?

Amelia: Great job on your workout! GS legs and BM2 now that's a mix. :)

Gayle: Glad that your house has finally settled down. When my oldest was living at home he would have quite the group hanging out as well. They would all camp out in my office because they would stay up until 3 or so in the morning. I really miss having him here now.
Enjoy the rush because like I said yesterday it is gone in a flash.

I am not sure what workout I am up for today. DOMS in my legs and tri's from PH on tuesday. I should be doing a leg workout but I don't think my legs could handle it. Thinking of BM (original),Leaner Legs or scheduled for PH again. Any suggestions?

Today is a tennis day for me. I will do some pilates or stretch afterwards. Yesterday I did 4DS LIS. Man, my shoulders are sore today! Hope if doesn't affect my killer serve:p

Belinda - Have a fantastic time in Italy.

Heidi - You should try some cardio to help with the DOMS, It always works for me.

Good morning, gals! Real quick, so I can get the kiddos on the bus....

iTread 23, 40 minutes! LOVED IT! I logged 4.13 miles with the runners' numbers. There are what I would call 4 challenges in this workout. First one, Grace increases your speed .3, then down .2, then up .3, then back down .2. Second challenge are hill sprints, first on 6%, then 8%! Third is the increase/decrease 'game', and the final one is a 12% hill walk then squats on the side of the TM! LOVED IT! I tacked on abs from ab hits (S&H tris/Kickbox planks). My DOMS were burning so badly I almost skipped out on the abs, but I eeked it out!

Good morning Heidi,

my DH and I will leave tomorrow! I am very excited! I still didn't worked out, I have been cleaning my house all morning! I will do cardio later, not sure what yet! I vote for leaner legs!

I still have to clean my floors in my bedroom and bathroom! I am almost done!

Good Morning Cyber Friends:)

Today is a long powerwalk on the TM while watching pride and predudice(my favorite). My netflix movies haven't arivved yet,bummer! I have some classics coming my way,"some like it hot", "Cat on a hot tin roof" " Some where in time" anyways you get the picture;-)

Belinda-Im excited so excited for you! So im guessing you guys will return on sunday? Have a blast and be carefull;-) and yes my b-day is november 14:)

Heidi, I say cardio too, maybe LIS. I don't have Leaner Legs. How is it? Long? Tough?

Hello Amelia: Enjoy your powerwalk and movie! My birthday is the 21st of Decemeber and I will be 45 on the next one. Did I just say that!

Hi Carolyn: Ohhh be careful on those shoulders. You’ll be feeling this for sure on your tennis match today. I did do cardio yesterday (iTread #19 sprints) but an easy run might be good. I agree that after tough leg workouts, a nice cardio day does loosen you up a bit.

Hello Stephanie: Like I was saying to Belinda…I haven’t done this in awhile and can’t remember if it is tough. Mmmmm LIS sounds doable. I will have to lay out a couple DVD’s and close my eyes and point. Which ever I end up pointing to this will be my workout.
What are your workout plans for today?

Gayle…What do you think of Leaner Legs? This is one of your fav’s if I remember correctly.

Heidi-I LOVE Leaner Legs! DO IT!!! I really REALLY LOVE it! I've worked up to using a 55# barbell on all the BB work. It's short, it's sweet (or should I spell it SWEAT, lol), and EFFECTIVE! Sometimes, I like to tack on floor work from B&G, PLB or something. Go ahead.....I DARE YOU!!!! }(

Kathy-I have one iTread Marathon training...what else would you use to tack on to that for a 13 mile TREADMILL run??? I think I'm STUCK again this weekend, and I have my longest run of this training....the half distance of 13 miles.

OK.....Hi to everybody else! I promised myself I will NOT get back on the PC until I get my online banking stuff done. Starting NOW!

Morning!
I was reading over the April rotation and I think I will do it just to change things up for 4 weeks. I have been doing pub/lb for 3 months now and I need a change. Plus, I want to really burn my legs and this seems like it will do it.

Oh my, you girls have been busy bees the last couple of days, lol….I’ll have to come back later for personals.

Today I woke up late again! I only had time to do PUB and run 3 miles (using a Runervals). My Achilles tendon is a little sore on my right side, I haven’t done step in a long time and I think that was the culprit.

Great idea Belinda – I’m typing in a word document!! Wow, why didn’t I think of that?! Doesn’t it feel good to get all the cleaning done!

Heidi – My legs are burning today too – from PLB. There for awhile I wasn’t having any DOMS – take a little time off and wowza, it’s like starting over with the DOMS. Thanks for the reminder about how childhood is gone in a rush. Sometimes it is overwhelming as a mom – but we just need to enjoy it! :)

Gayle – Oh my gosh girl – you rock!! What, are you spending too much time chatting??!! har har! Go get that banking done!

Carolyn – What pilates do you do? Like I mentioned yesterday, I started doing Windsor Pilates and really like it. Maybe I need to branch out?

Stephanie – Good morning girl! I don’t have leaner legs either – but I always here the gals talking about it.

Susan – I agree you will get DOMS when you do something different. I did PLB for 2 months – then tossed in an old “easy” firm tape – and the next morning could barely walk. Not that it was harder – just “different”.

Kathy - "ONLY" had time to do PUB and run 3 miles because you woke up late -- I'd love to hear what you do when you wake up "early" - har har!!

I finally got around to watching Biggest Loser. Wow I love Ali – I sure hope she wins it! My gosh, she looks amazing!!! I think Mark may be done losing weight – so maybe that will help her! :)

Got my workout done. I needed some good cardio. I actually was about to do IMAX and saw my fav Cardio Kicks and decided on that one. Too fun!! I plan to start the April rotation on Monday.

Today is just studying and cleaning. I actually love to clean so I’m looking forward to it. Did I miss someone asking about birthdays? Well I can’t be left out. My bday is Jan 6 and I turned 41.

I just got this recipe from Dr. Weil ..its sounds like it might be good for a somewhat healthy treat. I’ll let you know if its good.

Chocolate Ricotta
Ingredients:
1/2 cup lowfat ricotta cheese
2 tbsp mild honey
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions:
1. Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth.
2. Scoop into small dessert dishes and serve.
Nutritional Information:
Per serving:
145 calories
3 g total fat (2 g sat)
11 mg cholesterol
24 g carbohydrate
10 g protein
2 g fiber
100 mg sodium

Oh Gayle: I did your challenge! Workout was Leaner Legs with abs. Wow! I don’t think I will be able to walk tomorrow after this one! I didn’t go as heavy with the BB because it was my first time around. Used a 20# BB and my hand weights were like Cathe’s at 10 and 8’s. She had me fooled for a minute when she was finished with the slow lunges. I thought she was done! But oh no….she moved right on to plie squats. Thanks for the challenge! It was a great lower body workout.:)

Susan: If you want a good burn in the legs try Leaner Legs out!;) I felt the burn big time! Have fun with IMAX.

Hi Kathy: Even getting up late didn’t stop you from getting in that workout. Great job on PUB and the runnerval. Which one did you do today? I hope that you can stretch your Achilles out a bit today.

Hi Michelle: Great burn on PLB! I was switching workouts between GS, PLB and SH. Every time I went back to PLB it would get me good for a couple days.

OK......I just read a post by Liann on the OD about her cutting up her credit card to get her financials under control. Guess what! I am going to cut up one of mine! I have a MyPoints credit card (you earn points and then redeem them for gift cards at www.mypoints.com), but just before Christmas I switched to an Amazon card. I NEVER EVER carry a balance. IF IF IF I charge something, I put the cash aside somewhere and when the bill comes due, I pay it off with the money I set aside. BUT.....I don't need 2, right? SO....I'm going upstairs right now and will SHRED my one credit card. No sense tempting fate, right? LOL
