Morning Belinda and everyone who follows!

It's still damp and cool this morning so I'm going to do my long run tomorrow instead of today (I'll take a rest day instead). ;-)

I'm also going to do my weigh in for this week today. I'm feeling great!

Today is supposed to be cardio, but I feel like crap and my throat is on firex( Maybe I'll walk later this afternoon if I feel up to it. I hate missing a workout but I just don't think I can do it today.

Hi, Belinda, Melissa and Carolyn!!!

Ok, I had a housefull of guests last night for a sleep over but I got up early this morning anyway. I did Cardio Kicks! I probably SHOULD have taken a rest day today, considering tomorrow's 10K race/run with HILLS. But.....whatever! LOL No rest for the weery! LOL Goal for tomorrow morning’s race is 52:00…it’s got HILLS and more HILLS, so I’m really looking forward to a great workout! HA!

Tomorrow is also Free Day for me. I will eat in controlled portions. Here’s the general plan for tomorrow….the race has pizza afterwards, which I’ll have ONE slice of. On the way home, the family and I will have lunch. Then we’re going to BF’s house for Super Bowl and his Bday party. This morning, I made a low-fat version of Éclair Cake (made with graham crackers, pudding mixed with milk and cool whip, with a chocolate frosting) that I’m looking forward to tomorrow. We’re also having lasagna, a veggie/cheese/cracker platter, etc. I’ll enjoy IN PORTIONS!

Today’s menu plan:
M1: Protein Pancakes
M2 : Salmon Macaroni Salad
M3 : Roast Beef Wrap
M4: Roast Beef Wrap
M5: ????? depends on family plans
M6: ???

Headed out shortly for family visits, a basketball game and baseball sign ups (already).

Morning everyone!

Today was cardio for me - I did 40 minutes of step intervals. At first when I woke up, I felt like I was way too tired to exercise....but I decided to just see if I could do it. I told myself I would just do it at 50% intensity and that I would quit if I was exhausted. Of course - that's just a little mental trick I play with myself, cause once I get into it - I always end up going 100% and finishing the workout!

Today's food:
1- zone bar
2- yogurt with protein powder and small scone
3- pita pizza
4- smoothie with fruit
5- lentil soup
6 - string cheese and orange

Oh - and I weighed myself today which I haven't done in months. 135.6 lbs on my 5'7" frame. Not great, but it could be worse! My goal right now is 129.

Good morning ladies -

I'm in a rush again -- kiddos have me running. However, I HAVE to take a moment and let you know how I feel....

I can't believe this program - BFL. I feel great!! This morning I only had an hour before needing to head out the door -- and it wasn't even an option - I jumped on the elliptical for 20 minutes then grabbed a quick shake - and headed out the door. That's what I love - it is a lifestyle. :)

I started this on December 31 -- it has been 5 weeks. I'm not even half way there! Even though this isn't a program about "weight" we all know we step on the scale every week (or every day!). I'm only 5'2" -- so at 116, I wasn't overweight, but wanted to shed a little fat. It is a SLOW process with these last few pounds. Well, after the first two weeks I had GAINED two pounds. UGH.

Due to all you gals, I kept on going. Last night at 9:00 I pulled out my chocolate protein pudding for my 6th meal -- and couldn't help thinking -- how does this work?? I am full all the time!! Maybe I shouldn't eat this -- well, it is part of the plan, so I will. This morning I stepped on the scale... drum roll... 111.

Wow, I am sleeping less, I have energy to keep up with my kids, I am eating every 3 hours and I'm really not hungry. AND I lost 5 pounds this month. Why did it take me so long to figure this out?

Okay, can you tell how excited I am??!! This is the first time in 10 years I have lost weight -- without starving myself.

Thanks for listening. You know "others" just don't understand. I'm so glad to be on this journey with you ladies!!

Hi everyone! If anyone is still out there...

I ended up taking today as my rest/free day. When I woke up this morning my ears were blocked and it was really driving me nuts! I even took a 2 hour nap today while DH did the taxes and DD played. I can't remember the last time that I took a nap in the middle of the day!! So no Cardio Fusion for me today. I stuck to my meal plan though, didn't stray at all.

Looking forward to starting a new week tomorrow, one day early! Got my Turkey Black Bean Chili in the crockpot and it smells great.

I weighed myself this morning and I stayed the same this week. If I lose 2lbs this week, that will make 10lbs and I'll be right on track. My intial goal was to lose 20lbs in this first 12 weeks. I feel so good, though, if I don't make that 20lb mark, I think I'll be okay with it. It doesn't have to be over in 12 weeks, right!!???

Michelle - congrats on your weight loss girl!!!:)

Gayle - good luck on your race tomorrow!
