Good morning ladies -
I'm in a rush again -- kiddos have me running. However, I HAVE to take a moment and let you know how I feel....
I can't believe this program - BFL. I feel great!! This morning I only had an hour before needing to head out the door -- and it wasn't even an option - I jumped on the elliptical for 20 minutes then grabbed a quick shake - and headed out the door. That's what I love - it is a lifestyle.
I started this on December 31 -- it has been 5 weeks. I'm not even half way there! Even though this isn't a program about "weight" we all know we step on the scale every week (or every day!). I'm only 5'2" -- so at 116, I wasn't overweight, but wanted to shed a little fat. It is a SLOW process with these last few pounds. Well, after the first two weeks I had GAINED two pounds. UGH.
Due to all you gals, I kept on going. Last night at 9:00 I pulled out my chocolate protein pudding for my 6th meal -- and couldn't help thinking -- how does this work?? I am full all the time!! Maybe I shouldn't eat this -- well, it is part of the plan, so I will. This morning I stepped on the scale... drum roll... 111.
Wow, I am sleeping less, I have energy to keep up with my kids, I am eating every 3 hours and I'm really not hungry. AND I lost 5 pounds this month. Why did it take me so long to figure this out?
Okay, can you tell how excited I am??!! This is the first time in 10 years I have lost weight -- without starving myself.
Thanks for listening. You know "others" just don't understand. I'm so glad to be on this journey with you ladies!!
