Good morning Belinda and all who follow!

I think you meant this to be Tuesday's thread.

We enjoyed the movie yesterday, Horton Hears a Who. DS had been in Suessical Jr. at school this year, so that made it a bit more special.

I should have done cardio this a.m., but my toe is still bothering me. I wondering if I should get it checked out. It's a bit swollen and red but not too bad. I'll see how it does after a few hours in steel toes. That may send me to the dr. If it does feel better tonight, I'll get some cardio in.

Off to get ready for work. kids are on spring break this week, so I only need to get myself ready for a change.

Sherry,i missed the post about what you did too your toe? What happened? I hope it doesn't give you anymore trouble!

Hey belinda...high fives on your workout today! I too get confused about the days nowx( with my DH working nights!

Belinda-wow thats must be nice to have your DH home for 4 days. I think I would be ready for mine to go back to work after 3}( its like having another kid...*rolls eyes* Mine had a 3 day weekend(thankgoodnes,LOL)
 
Good Morning Ladies,

TOday is Cardio. Yesterday I ended up doing GS legs. What a burner!

I'm a loser today. I didn't stick with my goal yesterday. I feel stress is getting the best of me. Today is a new day and I will try to move forward.

Sherry - Hope your toes is better. What did you do to it?

Amelia - Glad you were able to stick with your goal yesterday. Have fun with your cardio.

Belinda - Hope you enjoyed having your hubbie around.

Belinda: Great job on that iTread 13!

Sherry: Darn those little piggies...I have hit my toes so many times and they end up turning my toe nails black.x( My first broken toe was when I was in gymnastics and got flipped off the trampoline and ended up upside down under it with my toe stuck in the spring. Don't ask how that happened...boy I couldn't stop laughing for days!
Anyway...I hope that it gets better soon.

Carolyn: Oooh GS legs is a good one! Good for you! I hope with a good cardio workout today you will get rid of some of that stress. :)

Carolyn-It's been a while since I've done GS Legs! Enjoy your cardio!

For me, Today's workout is HIIT! I'll be doing it on the stationary bike as my shins were burning a bit AGAIN during my walk to school. I think I'm realizing that this happens everytime there are a few days in between my runs. Sort of like DOMS after you do a workout you haven't done in a while. Then I'll ad on Core Max to finish it out. This morning I decided to sleep in just a bit and will do my workout in about 30 minutes from now, after I get the boys on the bus for school!

Hi Sherry,

I hope that you don't think that I was trying to make light of your poor little toe :-( Just thought you might get cheered up listening to something so ridiculous as to what happened to me years back. Where were the videos then? I still can't figure out how that happened. Even the coach was roaring...he couldn't get off the floor it was that bad! It hurt like hell but it was just the weirdest thing to have happened.:+

Could you wrap your toe with a bandaid to help support it if you wanted to just do a powerwalk or step workout? This is what I usually do. The toes that usually get injured for me are the 2nd and 3rd. My last toe injury is almost grown out...my son backed into me and lifted the toe nail...:eek: The new nail is growing in under the old one so it is almost back to normal.

I have to wait most days for my son to get off to school as well. It does make the morning that much longer however. :-( I was up again this morning at 3am for some weird reason. I have been waking up really early and then going back to bed. I wish I had the energy in the morning to do my workouts then...but I just feel so weak.

Heidi-I hope you didn't think I was making fun of YOUR toe story, but I would have been laughing along with your coach, I think! LOL As much as I LOVE getting up early and getting my workout done before I wake the kids for school, sometimes (like today), that extra 90 miinutes or so are worth it to wait till after the bus comes. But, then it pushes everything else back for the rest of the morning. AND.....I don't have that block of time too often, so I like to take advantage every now and then!

OK

I got my HIIT in on the bike after the bus came. Then Core Max 1. I've got DOMS in my core from all those pushups yesterday, but I worked thru it!

I feel GREAT and ready to take on the day! I need to go dry my hair now and have Meal #2 before I head off to school/work!

BBL sometime to chat some, hopefully!

Morning!
This morning I did a heavy BFL Lower Body workout + core only premix from Cathe’s Bootcamp + 30 minutes of spinning. My son is home for Spring break and it’s great to have some extra time in the morning for working out!

Sorry, I’ll come back during lunch and do some personals. I have lots of work piled up here for me and a meeting later. I like being busy though, makes the day go by faster!

Gayle - I am a firm believer in sleeping in as long as possible in the morning. Feels good once in a while, doesn't it?!

Last night I did 4DS Kickbox & Legs. It was a nice change, but it was a struggle. I am extremely tired these past few days and would have been perfectly content to veg on the couch last night, but I didn't. HIIT tonight. Not sure what I'll do yet. I have an appointment to get my hair done tonight, so I'll decide after that. I love getting my hair done. It's so relaxing!

M#1: applesauce banana bread w/1T natural pb & 1 c skim milk
M#2: turkey wrap
M#3: salad w/grilled chicken
M#4: oatmeal applesauce muffin & 2T chopped walnuts
M#5: turkey black bean chili
M#6: ????

Oh...I am going to make that bread again later today...my aunts are coming to see me tomorrow morning. So I am going to have sandwiches for them and that bread for dessert.:9


Just finished SH legs and abs from ab hits #4 (MIC/SH planks). I will do a Runnerval tempo run tonight for HIIT.

Hi Heidi! My legs are pretty sore today, so I'm happy!

I hope your aunts enjoy the bread. I ate my last slice this morning so I'll be making more tomorrow night unless I have time tonight.

I haven't done SH legs in so long, I might have to put that in my rotation for the next twelve weeks.

WHEW!!!

I just finished my cardio. I did 4DS HIS and LIS. I have finally gotten all the moves down for both of them so this workout was a lot of fun. I feel as though I sweated out all the sugar from yesterday.

Kathy - Have fun with your son during spring break. Our spring break starts on the 4th. We are headed to Naples, FL with our neighbors who have a house there.

Heidi - Great job on S/H legs. I really like that one!

Melissa - You definitely need to add S/H legs into your routing. You will see results! Also you can go a little heavier to really work those legs}(
