LBWO done - did 4DS legs. I have a feeling that I'll have some DOMS later.

Good Morning,

I was busy this weekend so I didn't have time to post. Hope everyone had a great weekend. We had tornados all day Saturday in Atlanta. Luckily it didn't hit our area.

Not sure of today;s workout. I have gotten so off track lately, I feel like hanging it up and starting all over.

Morning everyone,

I just haven't been in the mood lately to do much of anything. I was able to stay on track M-F last week and then haven't done anything since. I was planning on doing Tracey's Walk Strong Saturday but we had to take the cat to the vet and it just never happened.

Sunday I purposely went downstairs to watch TV thinking if looking at the bike or TM it would get me going. Not.

today I just didn't feel up to doing anything and then my mind races and I just can't figure out what to do. I am one that after a while it is hard for me to just do the BFL workout and try to figure out what videos to do and I did take out the Gym Styles but then the length of those turned me off. I was thinking about pulling out Pure Strength but never did. So I am thinking I will go home and get Pure Strength out and do those.

I really am looking forward to STS and the pics looks great.

Gayle - which P90X workouts are you going to be doing? I like those workouts but with all the pull/chin ups and push ups it irritates my tendonitis in my one wrist so I don't pull them out too much.

Good morning! Today is GS Legs for me and weigh/measure/picture day. Already weighed...down another pound! I am just a couple pounds from my goal weight, but still have a LONG way to go to be as toned as I'd like.

Gayle, GREAT TIME on your run yesterday! And great idea getting the kids involved! You must have had some nice weather!

Belinda, great workout for you today! What's for lunch?

Rhonda: I am like that sometimes but once I just get going I can't stop. For the wrist issue I have been using weights for push-ups and tri dips. It really makes a difference on just the whole angle.

Stephaine: Your doing great! Congrats on the weightloss! :) Have fun with those DOMS after doing GS legs.

Belinda, vege burger sounds yummy! What kind do you get? I'm not sure what I'm having yet. Just finished a protein shake, chocolate!

Morning!
I did a heavy BFL Lower body workout + ran 3 miles (using Runervals 1.0) + PH Ab Hits segment.

I actually took the list to the grocery store and made all of the Clean Eating Magazine’s 5 meals for $60 yesterday. I subbed gluten free lasagna noodles and made the meatballs into a meatloaf instead (I’ll eat it with a salad instead of on a roll). I also made a batch of EFL quiche and baked oatmeal (for breakfasts). It feels great to have all these meals in the fridge and freezer and not have to think about what I’m going to eat. I still have to cook “regular” food for my family (they won’t eat any of the stuff I made, lol) but that’s okay.

So far I really like the Turkey Lasagna (I made it into a regular lasagna instead of rolling them (and divided it into 8 servings). I think I’ll change the spices next time, cinnamon and nutmeg give it a different taste. Maybe I’ll use Italian spices instead. Oh, and the tropical curry fruit salad is quite tasty….I sampled it yesterday and brought it for lunch today. I’m only going to get 2 servings out of it though….it’s too low cal for a meal when it’s divided into 4 servings. I’ll let you know what I think of the rest as I try them!

Hi everyone! I have time for a quick post before I have to get some work done...BOOOOOO...no fun!

Good news: I went into the depths of my closet this morning and pulled out a pair of pants that I haven't worn in a long time. Last time I tried them on I couldn't get them over my hips. Today, they fit perfectly. It actually brought a tear to my eye!:7

Today is the start of Week 11 for me and I am FIRED UP! The pants helped!! I planned out my last two weeks of meals last night and already told DH not to bother ask me to go out to eat for the next two weeks.

BFL UB for me tonight even though my biceps are still sore from Saturday's workout. I love that feeling though!

M#1: 3 protein pancakes
M#2: turkey wrap
M#3: veggie chili
M#4: salad w/ 3oz grilled chicken
M#5: haddock, 1/2 c brown rice & brocolli
M#6: protein shake
 
Hi Kathy. I was thinking about trying that Turkey Lasagna recipe too. I really wasn't crazy about the cinnamon & nutmeg part of the recipe so I think I'll leave that out and stick with Italian seasonings. Thanks for the review!
 
Hey guys! You're all busy chatting away already this morning. I don't have too much time for personals. SO's DS slept over last night and they kids want to use BOTH PCs this morning to play an online game! lol

Yesterday's run was SUPERB! The weather was nice when we started, but when we got out of the woods and bcak to the parking lot, the wind had picked up and we were all FREEZING our buns off! I'm taking today as a rest day since I haven't had one since LAST Sunday. I'll have to see if this week is double upper body or double lower body! LOL I lose track sometimes.

For my upper body this week, I'm going to use P90X. I'm going to use the Chest, Shoulders & Triceps and the Back & Biceps DVDs. Chest & Back is a good one, but it's got endless push ups and pull ups, and I want to work with heavy WEIGHTS right now, so I'll use that one later on (maybe, lol).

Sorry for no personals! Is it REALLY ST. Pat's Day today? I'm so focussed on Easter being this weekend that I completely FORGOT about St Pat's! lol I'm headed upstairs and am making a HUGE HUGE batch of Protein Pancakes. I ran out 2 weeks ago, but I'm all stocked up on the ingredients and I'll be making like 8X the recipe batch! LOL

BBL sometime. Again, sorry for no personals!

OH...one more thing. I've succeeded at saving Free Day, so I'm planning on taking it tomorrow!

I spent yesterday making meals ahead also. It just saves a lot of grief later when in a hurry with the rest of the familys meals.

Melissa: Awesome! Love finding pants that I haven't worn in ages and they fit great! Now you have me wondering what hidden treasure lies waiting for me in the bottom of my closet! :) Have a great workout tonight!

Hey Gayle: How are your legs today after that long run? I haven't tried P90 workouts yet but they sound interesting. Have a good one!:)

Hey guys....taking a quick PC peek while the protein pancakes cook on the griddle! LOL I ended up mixing 9x the recipe! LOL Think I'll have enough pancakes for a while? :)

Melissa-YES! Old pants fitting really has a way of kicking you into high gear (or KEEPING you there)! GREAT JOB!!!!!

Belinda-I did P90X for about 45 days over a year ago. I missed Cathe too much to continue! LOL But this time, I really think P90X will fit NICELY with the BFL rotation because it, too, maxes you out to lift as heavy as you can! They talk about using P90X workouts over at the BFL Tracker site, too, so that makes me happy!

Heidi-my legs feel FINE today! I really didn't FEEL like I NEEDED a rest day, but my schedule shows that I haven't rested since last weekend, and I'm due! LOL I'm doubling up tomorrow for HIIT and weights, to make up the slack/difference!

OK...time to turn the pancakes. HMMMMMMMM....what do you think I should have for lunch? LOL

Hey Gayle - if you think you'll end up with TOO MANY pancakes, feel free to ship some to me. I just ate my last three this morning and it would certainly save me from having to make more tonight. ;-) :7
