BFL Check-in 5/18/03 - 5/24/03

I had my SIL take my pic yesterday. I have been so sick, I have the "I just don't care" attitude. My stomach is still just so sick, I called the doc this morning and they don't seem to think it's a big deal to have D. for 5 days and be sick to your stomach. So, I guess.....the low carb board is www.lowcarbfriends.com. I am going shopping today and I am going to try this. I believe everyone has the perfect paln for them. Like I said, my sis and bro are doing very good on this, so I am going to try it. They ahve a BFL board. I have ALWAYS totally been against low carb, but I am going to try it.

Hi All,

It has been a busy week here at work. Training most of the week. I did PS Legs on Wednesday and wow what a workout. My legs and butt were so sore yesterday. I did my cardio run yesterday and today was Power Hour.

I have one more week of BFL and definitely need a change. I will have to check out the rotations that Cathe is coming up with. I am still considering the one body part per day. I just don't know. I need to make up my mind. I will still eat like I am since it is doing me well. So far 11 pounds down. This week hasn't been good with eating but we will see.

Well no workout for me this morning! I was still battling a headache last night (trying my best to keep it from becoming a migraine again), so I skipped the extra cardio session. And considering I'm still a little sore in the hamstrings, everything else feels much better. So I will do Muscle Endurance tonight. All of it!

Here's my weekend workout plan:

Fri- Muscle Endurance
Sat- Rhythmic Step, Dynamic Firming and Stretching (16 min)
Sun- Muscle Endurance
Mon- CTX cardio, possible Kickbox, then 10-10-10

If I'm sore Sunday I'll just flip my Sun/Mon workouts!

Hi gals! Happy Saturday to you!

I am soooo bummed. My computer is down again! uughhhhh!!! I am dialied in on my hubby's laptop right now. So...will only be able to dial in this week from work :( unless he lets me use his laptop every night??

Anyway, I am starting week 12 tomorrow! Yeah! I am going to get back on track this week ( I started today). I am going to change up the workout a lot but really get focused on the BFL meal planning this week. I went grocery shopping today and loaded up on fruit and lean sandwich meats from the deli. yummy!

Today I did step at the gym and LB. Felt FAB! I have really been working out a lot at the gym lately. Probably will for awhile until I get bored of it. Tomorrow I will do UB at home. Not sure of what yet. Maybe MIS or ME? The gym is closed for classes Monday so will do cardio on treadmill at home!

Here's my planned week.... (what do you think?)
Sun - UB + abs(ME, MIs?)
Mon - Cardio (Imax2 + treadmill)
Tues - Cardio + LB (cardio gym hi/lo + reebok core class + lb wts at gym)
Wed - UB (Cathe - shoulder/biceps/triceps) + 20 min. treadmill
Thurs - Cardio + UB(back/chest) (Cardio = step/gym) + abs
Fri - Boot Camp + extra LB
Sat - Free day

This looks like pretty tough week. Like the trainer said... I need to kick it up a notch to get out of this plateau! So, I am going to do one tough week to hopefully makeup for the last 2 being sick. Then, next week I'll chill out a bit. Am also adding so extra short bursts of cardio this week. I found out my gym has these great 30 min classes of intervals/hi lo etc. They rock and are perfect for the HIT cardio. I am sure I will be ready for FREE day on Saturday. Plus, I am going to take Betagen regularly this week. It usually helps me a lot. Am also splitting my UB days. Will do my back and chest at the gym and do the others at home.

Well.. hope you guys have a great weekend. We are going on a picnic tomorrow in the mountains! Yeah!

Hey Fitnut!

I think you should do abs from ME! I did ME Wednesday morning I think it was and I tell you I was sore up until today. Triceps, chest and hamstrings were toasted! And my abs were hurting so badly I thought maybe I had injured myself. But I actually did the shoulders and abs portion of ME Thursday morning with some cardio (I think I have the days straight:eek: ). I really focused on the ab training and couldn't believe how sore I was from it! :) My abs haven't been this sore in years!

I should have done ME last night but my legs and abs were still sore! I may try to tackle it around 10 p.m. tonight. I've been working in the yard for several hours and I'm slightly beat! ;) Otherwise it's bright and early tomorrow!

Are you planning on doing another challenge? I think I'm just about ready. :+ But I want to do some total workouts for a while!

Hi Everyone!!!! Well, I am feeling better now, and starting Monday, I am ready to move on. I copied someone's Tank Top Rotation off from videofanatics.com, but I am going to make my own rotation from it, just using a few different tapes. I am going to put in some of the Terminators. I am starting another 12 week period Monday. I am going to eat more low carb though, I am going to start that way anyway, and see how it goes. Talk to you all soon, and have a good weekend.
