Best workouts for light days?

I am new to Cathe and have quite a few of her DVDs---I am wondering what are good lighter workouts for days after a really intense, butt-kicking workout? Today my right hamstring is a little tight and I want to take it easy (but still get a good workout!) Would LowMax be a good choice for days like this?

Thanks in advance!
:)

I agree with the above post, plus I would also add Cardio&Weights and Push Pull.

I did want to answer your question about Low Max - if you do the step only, it would be good. The blasts really work the legs, so if you have sore hamstrings, it's definitely one to avoid.

I do find that if you do the Step Only portions of the IMax and Low Max workouts - you have a pretty easy one. Of course that's a "relative" easy - Cathe is tough no matter how you slice her...

I agree with taking a rest day however when I'm wanting to do something light of Cathe's, I reach for the new Low Impact Step workout. This fits the bill for me! :)

I also think that Supersets and SJP are not too hard, and in addition to what's already been mentioned, good for lighter days. But then, there's all the lighter premixes of tough tapes, like Step only of the IMaxes and LowMax, kick punch drills only of KPC or Kickmax without the blast, etc. I never bought any of the intermediate or beginner workouts, so I can't speak to those.

Thanks everybody!! Luckily, I did step the day after it was feeling tight and it was fine right away. Think I just needed a veeery good stretch and get the blood flowing!!!

Am LOVING Cathe's workouts. Tried the Firm and wasn't impressed, been a Cathe fan for one month and counting. Love LowMax and IMax2 the best so far! :)

I use the CTX (Cross Training Express) workouts for my lighter days. I like the 30 minute cardio sections, expecially Kickboxing, which I find the easiest.
