WHat is the best workout plan for losing 15 pounds? I am 5'2 and stuck around 123 pounds and would like to be 105-110. WHat is the best strategy? Fatloss rotation or stregnth? Any advice from any of the wonderful Cathe lovers is welcome.
Thank you,
SHEri
If you don't mind me chiming in, I think that 123 lbs. sounds very healthy, especially if you work out with weights. Your muscle weighs more than fat. I am 5'4", only two inches taller, and I have never weighed less than 135, and I looked d#mn good at 135 was very toned and strong. However, I know that every body is different, and that all our shapes are unique.
If you are already on a strength training and cardio regimine, I would look at your eating habits. How much LEAN meat are you eating? How much sugar do you take it? Do you eat plenty of veggies? I have found that the things that have helped me in the past weren't excercising more (I already work out six days a week)but was cutting out sugar and eating lean meats. Cutting out pork, subbing bacon for turkey bacon, eating extra lean beef as opposed to ground chuck, upping fish intake and using only skinless chicken breasts helped, but I kept fat (you need fat) in my diet by eating whole fat cheeses, avacados, organic soy, and other natural fats. Eat as clean and natural as you can.
