:) Can someone please recommend an upper body weight training tape there are so many to choose from? Does anyone have a favorite?:)
Thanks,
Tina :)

Hi Tina,

It's hard to pick just one...I would say PUB & S&H are tied for me. It would actually be best to have both, to cross train. I also like MIS a lot.

Oh hell, get them all! LOL

Seriously, if I could only pick one, it would be PUB.

I absolutely love PUB (I don't have S&H - yet;)) and it is quite the workout. I always feel it the next day }(

Hope this helps, Wendy

I am a new convert to Slow & Heavy. I actually don't enjoy the amount of time and concentration it takes but my bicep vein is popping since I started Cathe's November rotation which includes the Slow & Heavy series. My all time favorite upper body workout is PUB.:7

I really like PUB and S&H the best. S&H gives me the best results(muscle mass), but PUB is a lot of fun and gives me great definition.

Aila:)

You might as well get PUB first, then immediately start saving up for your next one. CTX is awesome. So is S&H. And PS... we all have the same problem as you! Better just have them all on your shelf.

The drawback of PUB is that when you do the workout, you end up with all your weights out on the floor. Then you have to put them all away. With PS it's just one thing at a time and when you're done, your room is pretty much ready to leave (no massive cleanup time). If you work out at 5 a.m. like me, these kinds of things are important to know.

I just consider putting the dumbbells away as part of the workout and I enjoy doing PUB very much. It's easy to shorten by doing the "up only" or "down only" premixes.

I don't have S&H (yet!) I love PUB but I did CTX upper for the first time yesterday and it actually made me sore, which very rarely happens to me. It was a good tough upper body workout. I think PUB may be alittle tougher though, b/c of all the sets. If you heavy up, you will be working extra hard. There are pushups in CTX but I don't believe there are pushups in PUB. (right?) 1. PUB
2. PUB
3. PUB
4. PUB
5. Slow & Heavy
6. CTX

Rotating these three workouts is actually the best idea, IMO.

And yes - no push ups in PUB (yeah!), but you similarly work the chest and arms in the plank portion of the ab section.

Only one set of slow & heavy pushups; CTX has the most gruelling round of push ups of all her upper body workouts (IMO).

Cheers!

-now wants to go do PUB

My favorites are PUB and CTX upper. However, S&H is very, very effective (but not the most fun to do, in my opionion).
