Best step dvds for me?

Cathlete
I need to step up (!) my cardio while my shoulder is recovering from a strain that put me out of commission for months. The only Cathe step dvds I own are those beginning step dvds (too easy), LowMax (long and tough... I LOVE it) and IMAX3 (waaaaay too much jumping for me right now). I need to get 4 or 5 really good step workouts I can do right now that don't rely on plyos, which I really can't do (knees). Complicated moves I can overcome so intricate stepping is okay. Can you all recommend your favorites based on my needs and your experiences? I REALLY need to get moving - but safely. Thank you all.

You may want to take a look at the compilation DVD Cardio Hits. It has Power Max, Step Fit, and Step Works. These are classic cardio step workouts, and I just love to pull them out. I even really like the 90s-era music. Other cardio favorites of mine are Step Blast and Rhythmic Step.

I second the Cardio Hits recommendation. It's pure step; no blasts or intervals. I really feel I made a good purchase w/ this DVD.

I'm going to get CARDIO HITS, for sure, but I was just checking out The Catalog and was wondering about:
1) THE CLASSICS, VOLUME I: Step Jam, Step Heat and Step Max (though I can't yet do the plyos on That one) and
2) RHYTHMIC STEP + INTERVAL MAX + MAXIMUM INTENSITY CARDIO?

Anyone who uses any of these workouts, I'd love to know if you think these would suit my needs?

Step Jam was my very first Cathe workout and I still have a great fondness for it. I like Step Max and Step Heat (this is shorter with an abs section), but they aren't my favorites and I think these are some of her earliest workouts. Cathe has come a long way in her instruction and even in production quality since these. For cardio intensity, Power Max, Step Fit, and Step Works are a little better, I think.

I do like Rhythmic Step a lot, but Interval Max and MIC have a lot of jumping. I never do MIC unless I'm working out in a room with a rug or cushioned floor.

My 5 cents!

My vote is for Rhythmic Step and Step Blast !

Awesome. This is helping sooooo much. I hope to place my order tomorrow and I'm basing my choices on what you ladies tell me so thank you.

I think that Cardio Fusion is a really good step DVD.
The others mentioned are great also.
Cross Train Express has an All Step workout.
