best looking legs: STS pylo or squat rack?

For those of you who have done both STS plyo legs and STS squat rack legs; which do you think gave you the best-looking legs?
 
BTW, I'm wanting legs like Jai's!!! (don't we all!) I know she does lots of Kickboxing, but the STS options, which will get me the shapeliest legs? (I'm a bit worried that the squat-rack "strength" route will get me a lot more bulk, and I'm already pretty strong with pretty big thighs for my size)
I'm looking for lean and defined.....and gorgeous and sexy.....like Jai's!!
 
I am going to be doing my first round of STS beginning May 2 so I can't offer any advice but I am very interested in everyone's opinions as I too want Jai's legs (and nice shiny hair too ;)).

My lower body is always the first place to gain and the last to lose so I am really curious to see what is under the layer of fat. :p

I was initially going to try a combo approach in Meso 3 of doing the Squat Rack on the designated middle day and doing Plyo Legs as my last cardio day. Of course, that is assuming I have the energy to safely combine the two. :eek:
 
Good question. I'm in week 3 of M3 and doing the plyo legs. I really like these workouts, so much that I do the one scheduled for the week and repeat the previous week on a cardio day. My legs are pretty muscular as well. Maybe I'll notice some difference by the end of next week. Anxious to hear what the others say as well.

I did STS first time with squat rack and 2nd time with Plyo legs. I had better definition with the squat rack. I'm a pear and keep more fat in my lower body but I was extremely happy with the results particularly with the squat rack routines. I did the plyo leg warm ups every other day before I would run. But you know what? It's not a losing propostion whichever way you decide to go. It's all good. :)
 
i think the yoga will be a nice addition in the new series. yoga done consistently seems to keep the muscles leaner. never done it exclusively though since I love weight training so much.
 
Wow I found this thread very helpful! I am doing the 5.5 month rotation and am in the second half of Meso 2 right now. I've been hemming and hawing over which M3 leg work outs to do. This thread has solved the mystery for me! Squat rack legs it is! ;) Thanks!
 
Has anyone done the squat rack routine using the weighted vest? I don't have a squat rack but was wondering what your results were like with the vest along with weights?

The weighted vest allowed me to use more weight. Without a squat rack it was difficult, if not impossible to get heavier weight up, over & onto my shoulders, but w/weighted vest, I could go heavier.
