Best DVDs for Leg Definition & Leaning Out The Legs?

Cathlete
I'm in my last week of the Sept rotation "Butts & Gutts". Thanks so much for this rotation, as these are my problem areas.

I am thin on top and carry most of my weight all of the way from my lower abs and downward. While I did notice a slight amount of increase in my leg definition this month, I am no where near where I'd like to be. I'd love to lean out my legs and create a LOT of definition in them and flatten my lower abs.

I would love suggestions from you on how I can achieve this. I turn 46 this October and it seems harder and harder to keep this area under control. I also realize that a clean diet and plenty of aerobic exercise is important.

P.S. I should add that I can't run due to a cervical disc herniation.

I have had great results from cardio (esp Circuit Max) combined with Leaner Legs and great definition from Gym Style legs, which has a thorough standing workout and an intense and effective floor work section with the band and ball. Love it.

You can use Legs and glutes of the Body Blast Series.Another of my favorite parts are the floor segments of PLB and GSL using the stability ball. You have to do cardio and eat clean to see results too.

Since I've turned into a total step junkie, my legs are hard as rocks. I try not to do more than 3 or 4 step workouts a week, but I am not into variety at the moment. :) However, I must say, I am getting incredible definition in my legs and glutes!

If you're looking for weight training, I think L&G is Cathe's best and most effective. I also like GS Legs (awesome burn on the floor work), but L&G is the most fun for me.

Good luck!

Cheers,
Marie

I had great results with the Muscle Endurance video. My legs leaned out especially with all of those leg presses. I also think the Leg and Glutes is a great workout along with some kickboxing.
