Best/cheapest place to buy Tae Bo Amped?

BAM

Cathlete
I've been thinking about buying this for awhile. The infomercial is now selling the 5 dvd's for $39.95. This does not include the rockin abs and buns and the latter is the one I really would like but am not sure that I want to spend $74.95 (from Collage) just to get those 2 additional dvd's. Does anyone know where I could get this set for the most reasonable price? I know a lot of you are great at finding bargains so I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

Also, I hear how this really can shape your upper body and I'm looking forward to having my lats really feel the workout but does this series get into your triceps at all?

Thanks for your help.

If you order through billyblanks.com, the package + the extra videos comes out to $59.95, and then you'll need to add shipping.

I've been a fan of Billy's for years, and I'm not liking the Amped package. I've got nearly every video he's ever put out, and have been loyal to TaeBo for 6 yrs...but Amped has done nothing for me. And, I find it awkward to do the moves correctly.

I also have Rockin' Abs and buns...I can safely tell you that if you have the rest of the ab/bun videos from the Elite package or the bootcamp package, that you will really not be getting very much of anything new with these additional videos.

Again, I love Billy and the program, but Amped was a bit of a disappointment to me.

I have to agree...Amped does work your upper body, but I find the amplifier bar to be a bit awkward and it bothered my shoulder. If you're looking for some good Tae Bo workouts that use something to boost the upper body, I would recommend his original Billy's Boot Camp with the black bands. The two sets of videos since then are not as good, IMO.

Thank you both for your replies. I've certainly heard both sides of the fence on this workout. I have the Get Ripped series and if memory serves me correctly (I guess I haven't done them in awhile :p ), the were just o.k. I might still try the Amped series and if I don't like it, I could return it. Curiosity is getting the better of me. Stores have been selling the band workouts and I was hoping they'd start carrying the Amped ones as well but haven't yet seen them and I'm not sure how much longer I can hold off. Thanks again for your input.
