Best Butt Exercise

What is your opinion regarding the best exercises to target the butt. I need to firm and lift. I want to do extra work on mine in addition to B&G and L&G.

Sharon, Hi. Not Cathe, BUTT... (get it) I have a great butt exercise. Try this superset: Low pulse lunges (from Butts & Guts) supersetted with barbell stiff-legged deadlift w/ toes elevated. After performin)g that superset 3-4 times, do glute squeezes (from Butts & Guts) for 3-4 sets. On every every exercise of every set squeeze the backside hard!! You should really feel it in the muscles and will be sore the next day. Hope this helps.

Not Cathe of course, but I have 3 words for you:

Bulgarian Split Squats!

they are pure evil }( and totally changed the look of my rear!!

Thanks for that link, Debbie. I couldn't find any sites that actually showed a picture of those.

We skiers refer to those as Bode Miller squats. ;)
 


ME TOO. I AM DOING THE BUTTS AND GUTTS. I HAVE ONLY LESS THAN 6 MONTHS TO GO BEFORE I AM IN A WEDDING. I MUST BE IN SHAPE FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE AS WELL AS FOR THIS WEDDING. ALSO I BOUGHT THE BOOK BY TOSCA RENO CALLED " THE BUTT BOOK" HOW TO GET A CELLULITE FREE BUTT. I READ IT COVER TO COVER. I WILL BE IN THE GYM EVERYDAY UNTIL SEPTEMBER 15TH.
