bench press/flys inflamation

i can do bench press with no problem but when i do bench flys i feel my inflamation coming back from months ago. it started again after increasing my weight. is it ok using 20# for bench press and not do flys anymore? maybe i should just stick with push ups or drop down to 12# for bench flys. what do u think?

You might want to decrease the weight AND slow down your reps. I have a bit of shoulder pain with flys but found if I slow down the reps and think about the chest muscle instead of the shoulder it helps.

i am in the second week of meso3 and will try using 15# for flys and continue with 20# for bench press. it is only 7 reps. straight arms bother me too if i go to high so i'll probly stay with 5#or do front raises instead

I get the same problem, especially in my right shoulder. I find I have to go lighter for flies than the calculated weight. Lots of ibuprofen!
