I am a belly button jewelry fiend. I love them. I love having a pierced navel -- it was one of my long-time dreams come true. But it took a long time to heal -- like one year.

Thanks for the info on the rings. I like the more exotic ones for special times.

When I go to larger cities I buy them, but they are so expensive.

For everyday wear I prefer a basic barbell with pretty stones on the bottom and the top.

Just keep it clean with Dial Liquid soap once per day.

If you mess with it too much, it won't heal as quickly.

It is really fun after the piercing heals -- there are so many fun choices!
